A little more of what I’ve been working on… ✨

In my last post, I shared that I’ve been spending some time learning more about the business side of what I do — and taking a good look at how I want to move forward.

One of the things I’ve realized is that it’s time to simplify and update the way I structure my services and pricing.

Beginning November 1, you’ll notice some changes to my service menu and pricing.

This isn’t simply about raising prices. It’s about creating a pricing structure that makes more sense for the way I actually work — the time involved, the products I use, the experience I bring to the chair, and the individual needs of your hair.

I want things to be clearer, simpler and more intentional for both of us.

I’ll be sharing the details with you before November 1, and of course, if you ever have a question about what to book or what your service will cost, just ask me. Please just give me some time to respond as I can’t always respond quickly while I am working.

This is one more piece of a bigger picture I’ve been working on.

Something new is taking shape… ✨

I’ve spent most of my career being a hairstylist first and a business owner second.

I never went to business school. I learned hair — and pretty much figured out the business part as I went.

Along the way, I’ve had experiences that taught me what I wanted my business to be…and some that showed me exactly what I didn’t want it to be.

I’ve done pretty well figuring things out on my own, but recently I realized:

Doing well isn’t the same as being intentional.

So I’ve been doing some homework. Taking courses. Learning. Rethinking. And getting really excited about what the next chapter could look like.

I’m not ready to show you everything just yet…

but stay tuned.
