Every year, I (Snow Fairy) flutter into your lives and onto shelves, signifying the beginning of the holiday season. The Snow Fairy range of pink bubbles, fizz, and foam with that signature cotton candy scent has been a returning fave for years and years.

To ring in the season this year, I have been brought to life in an bespoke animation that was created by our Lush UK team. In this video, Hannah Marks chats with Group Digital Director Jack Constantine about how Snow Fairy's ascent into the magical world of animation came to be, and how we want to inspire folks to feel confident, be wrapped in kindness, and always have the courage to be themselves. Snow Fairy has taken on a life all its own and is here to spread kindness and joy to everyone this holiday season.

On November 18th an innocent man may be executed. In 1999 Julius Jones was arrested for the murder of Paul Howell. At the time of the murder, Julius was at home eating dinner with his family. The jury never heard this evidence nor other inconsistencies in the case and there is evidence that some jurors displayed a racial bias against Julius. Julius was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death.

Julius has spent over 20 years—half his life—on death row. Further evidence has since come to light indicating his innocence, including an admission of guilt by someone else.

On November 1st the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted 3-1 to recommend clemency for Julius and to commute his sentence to life in prison with the possibility of parole. In fact, this is the second time in three months that the Pardon and Parole Board has voted to save Julius' life.

Lush campaigns for the abolition of the death penalty and stands with more than one million people who are urging Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to act on the advice of the Pardon and Parole Board and grant Julius Jones the recommended clemency.
