I AM HER…✨
There is something sacred about finally recognizing the woman you have become.
Not because you have arrived or figured everything out, but because you have lived long enough to understand that every season will not go with you into the next.
I AM HER.✨
The woman who has learned that growth requires letting go.
The woman who no longer feels the need to fix everything, carry everything, or control every outcome.
Life has taught me that some things must be released in order for something new to grow.
And I’m learning to trust that.
I can honor who I was while making room for who I am becoming.
I can bless what was and still choose what’s next.😉
Most importantly, I can trust GOD with the parts of my journey I cannot see yet.🙏🏽🤎
At this stage of my life, I’m not interested in forcing what no longer flows.
I’m choosing peace.
I’m choosing what nourishes me.
I’m choosing to grow.
I AM HER… and I’m still Be~Coming Her. 🌱🤎
Seed for the Soul:🌻✨
Sometimes the woman you prayed to become is waiting on you to release the woman you had to be.

🌻🌱Sacred Soil Reflection…
There is a quiet kind of courage that no one applauds.
The courage to outgrow old versions of yourself.
To release what once felt familiar.
To trust an unfolding you cannot yet explain.
I’ve learned that not every transformation needs an announcement.
Some seasons are meant to be lived before they’re understood.
For now, I’m simply honoring the becoming.
Perhaps you are too.🤎✨

Rest looks good on me. 🌻✨
As I welcome August, I’m keeping rest as part of my routine.
One of the greatest lessons I’m learning is to honor my capacity without guilt, embrace quiet without feeling the need to join every conversation, and remember that not every burden is mine to carry or every person’s energy belongs in my garden.
Rest isn’t something I’ll do when everything is finished. Rest is how I protect the soil of my soul.
May this month remind us that peace is a practice, stillness is productive, and honoring our limits is an act of wisdom, not weakness.
A special birthday shout-out to my beautiful Leo ♌️ peeps! Celebrating this queen was one of the highlights of my week. Love you, Sis! Wishing you a year filled with joy, peace, laughter, abundance, and every blessing your heart can hold. 🦁🥂🎉
Happy August. May we all choose what nourishes us. 🤎🌻✨

🌻✨ Sacred Soil Reflection…
I’ve been quiet this past month, not because I had nothing to say, but because I needed to practice what I so often encourage others to embrace.
As July began, I realized I was burned out. So I made a conscious decision to limit both my energy intake and my energy output.
In this season of my life, my bounce back isn’t what it used to be, and I’m at peace with that truth.
I’ve learned it’s okay to acknowledge when you’re functioning with limited capacity. We don’t have to pretend we’re okay just because the world expects us to keep going.
I needed July.
I needed space to breathe.
To rest.
To recharge.
To nourish my soul.
The real luxury isn’t being busy. The real luxury is honoring your capacity and recognizing what is yours to carry and what isn’t.
Burnout is real.
Rest is not a reward.
Peace is not a luxury.
They are sacred necessities.
I am embracing my self nourishment era. 🌻✨

🌻Sacred Soil Reflection…
Ten months ago, I met with a few of my cousins for lunch to begin discussing our family reunion. It had been 35 years since our last one.😩
My role was simple.
I was only supposed to send the Zoom links for our committee meetings.😉
Somewhere along the journey, everything changed.
To this day, I can’t tell you exactly how I became Chairwoman. I never campaigned for it. I never asked for it. In fact, I spent much of the journey in resistance.
But what I resisted eventually became my calling.
Looking back, I don’t believe the committee chose me.
I believe GOD, along with the prayers and strength of my ancestors, chose me for the assignment.
As the months unfolded, there were moments when I wondered if anyone would register, if people would travel, or if all the planning would be worth it. Yet every time I felt weary, I could feel GOD strengthening me and my ancestors reminding me that this reunion was never just about an event.
It was about restoring a legacy.
Watching generations laugh, embrace, reconnect, and learn about the shoulders upon which we stand reminded me that I come from a legacy of not just Black Excellence, but Excellence. Faith. Resilience. Love.
To every family member who traveled near and far, thank you. To our incredible committee, thank you for your commitment, your sacrifice, and your love.
Together, we witnessed something truly beautiful.
If you recognize any of these faces, I celebrate you too.
May we never wait another 35 years to honor the roots that continue to nourish our legacy.
Love & Light. 🤎✨

The Obamas aren’t just Black Excellence.
They are the embodiment of Excellence itself.✨
More than a decade after leaving the White House, their legacy, leadership, grace, and influence continue to inspire millions around the world.
When Michelle Obama said, “When they go low, we go high,” I believe she was speaking to more than behavior. She was speaking to a higher level of consciousness rooted in dignity, purpose, and truth.
When you know who you are and the impact you’ve made, the noise of others loses its power.
Congratulations to Barack and Michelle Obama on the opening of the Obama Presidential Center. A lasting reminder that service, vision, and excellence leave footprints that time cannot erase.👏🏽✨🤎
Special recognition to Nigerian-born artist Njideka Akunyili Crosby, whose breathtaking portrait, “The Obamas: Springing Forth,” beautifully captures the story, legacy, and humanity of this remarkable couple. 🎨✨🖤📚
It’s incredible that more than a decade later, Michelle Obama is still living rent-free in some people’s minds while she remains completely unbothered.😉🫶🏽💜
Her legacy is already cemented as one of the most iconic First Ladies in American history. With every attack and nasty remark, GOD continues to elevate the Obamas.🙏🏽🙌🏽
When the noise is long forgotten, legacy will remain.💜
Not just “Black Excellence” but Excellence!

Monday’s Mindset…🤔
Nobody tells you that with age comes surprise aches and pains. One day your knee is acting up, the next day it’s your shoulder, and somehow you injured yourself while sleeping. 😂🥴
The craziest part is you didn’t even do anything! You simply woke up and your body said, “We’ve installed a new ache. Thank you for updating.” 🤦🏽♀️🤣
We may creak a little when we get up, but thank GOD we still get up! 🙌🏽❤️
Happy Monday, beautiful people.✨🌻

🌻Sacred Soil Reflection…
As I deepen my relationship with GOD, I’ve discovered something surprising: faith doesn’t make life easier. It changes how we walk through life’s challenges.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “Patience is better than pride.”
Lately, I’ve been learning why.
Patience is not a place we arrive. It is a lesson we learn again and again.
Pride wants control. It wants certainty. It wants to know how everything will work out.
Patience requires surrender.🙏🏽✨
The more I try to control the outcome, the more frustrated I become. The more I trust GOD, the more peace I find.✨
What I’ve come to understand is that faith is not developed because we don’t have problems. Faith is developed by how we respond to them.
In this season, GOD is teaching me that the lesson is not control. The lesson is endurance!
And while surrender is uncomfortable, growth often is.
Every challenge is another opportunity to trust GOD with what I cannot control.🙏🏽
Patience is not weakness. It is faith learning how to wait.☺️✨

🌿🌻Sacred Soil Reflection…
Nature doesn’t apologize for releasing what it no longer needs.
Yet many of us hold on long after a season has ended.
We hold on to expectations, relationships and old versions of ourselves.
But what if release isn’t loss?
What if release is trust?
Trusting that what is meant for us will remain.
Trusting that what is leaving has fulfilled its purpose.
Trusting that GOD is preparing the soil for something new.
As I continue to walk through this season of transition, I am learning that letting go is not weakness, it is wisdom.
Today, I invite you to reflect:✨
What are you carrying that no longer belongs in this season of your life?
✨Your peace is sacred soil.
