Great day for digging! 100 feet of 12 inch pipe from the seepage bed to an overflow spreader. Progress!

After many delays due to a variety of factors, we finally got started on the seepage bed today. Here are pics of the first section. 4 more to go …

Inlet 2 of 6 set today for an elaborate storm water collection system. I think we may be collecting everything upstream of us 😏

Making progress on the wood siding. It’s poplar that’s modified through extreme heat to become insect, rot, and moisture resistant, then treated with a clear coat oil to increase its durability. Over a short period of time it’s color will naturally turn silver.

Sheetrock is up and finished; rooms are taking shape. Kudos to DJS Drywall’s crews. Efficient and clean. Watching them hang is like watching a tornado blow through the house.

Geothermal wells are drilled and 800 feet of pipe installed. Had rough inspections on Wednesday and now spraying foam insulation on inside of exterior walls. Great experience working with The Envelope Group, llc.

Third time is a charm after all. First two holes drilled for geothermal pipe collapsed due to the amount of water 25 feet below the surface. We moved up the hill a bit and 400 ft of pipe successfully installed. Hoping the second and last hole goes as smoothly Monday.

First well drilled for house water. 300 feet deep, 15 gallons/minute. Geo wells tomorrow.
