15 years ago today I opened the doors to Bella Dawna Salon. To say I am grateful is an understatement. I don't even think I could possibly put into words how much joy the Salon and all of you have brought me. I get to spend every single day laughing while doing what I love. I thank you all for the continued support through some pretty awful times. Pipes bursting, a break in, the devastating fire, a pandemic shutdown..... what a ride! Having the encouragement and love from you all has given me so much strength over the years. I honestly look forward to work every day. Thank you for putting up with my silliness, my awkwardness, my sarcasm, my love for old music (sorry for those who come in during the 50s/60s days lol) and of course Otis's loud Hello. Bella Dawna wouldn't exist without you.

A great big thank you to my amazing niece Ariana who has been with us for 4 years now. Ari, I appreciate you so much. You have become such an asset to the Salon and I don't know how I did it without you. Love you!
Thank you to my parents, sisters and entire family for their constant love & support.

With Ariana joining the Salon there have been a lot of new faces coming through the door and some have questioned the name of the Salon, asking who Bella is. In 15 years, I don't think I've ever really explained the name so here it is: Bella Donna = beautiful lady in Italian, so it means Beautiful Lady Salon. Our goal is to make everyone feel beautiful inside the salon. I just changed the spelling to my name... Dawna. So there we have it, the Irish girl used Italian words. 🥰

But here we are at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury. Me, Otis, and Dougie D dropped everything off this morning. Thank you so much for helping me collect for the Veterans every year.
