Your silk press outcome will vary depending on how healthy or unhealthy your hair is at the time. You can’t expect the silkiest press when you’ve been wearing braids all year and haven’t properly shampooed, cut or treated your hair. That’s why some presses are very silky and some still look dry. The same products are used it’s just “your hair” isn’t as healthy as the persons whose press is super silky. Stay consistent, get treatments, trims etc. and I guarantee you’ll love the way your hair looks eventually.
