Sound on!

HU is a beautiful sound vibration. It helps to reduce stress and is good for alleviating depression, insomnia, anxiety and problems with the thyroid.

This simple sound has the power to harmonize every atom in the body, causing one to be in perfect resonance with the entire universe.

It is a very sacred and powerful prayer, a prayer of Divine Love. The ancient Egyptians used the sound HU to connect with Divine Spirit. Today you can use HU to create an atmosphere of peace around yourself and stay connected to your Higher Self through life’s ups and downs.

Vibrate HU 3 - 11 minutes a day or let it play softly in the background while you sleep.

This beautiful track was created by Dr. Levry and is made available for free at www.rootlight.com.

Something you can do to prepare your body and mind for a restorative night of rest is a body-scan meditation. It can be done seated or lying down. It can last 1-20 minutes. It’s up to you.

Dim the lights very low or turn them off all together. In your seated or horizontal position, close your eyes. Simply observe your breath, keep it flowing through the nose on both the inhale and exhale. Slow it down. Notice how that feels. Encourage your body to relax and release tensions through each breath.

Once you feel as relaxed as possible, begin working up from your toes to your head through the right side of the body, observing the presence in each part of your body. Feel the weight of each part become clear and more relaxed. Once you reach the right side of the top of your head, work from that point down the left side of the body.

The slower your pace, the longer your body scan will take and the more restful state you will slip into.

The quality of our sleep is integral to our feeling and being connected to a steady, positive and expansive approach to the experiences we face and come across in life. When we find ourselves at a crossroads, it is vital to remember that we are able to work our way through everything. To use the power of the way we think, feel, speak and act towards an outcome that is aligned with our greatest growth and our wellbeing.

When our sleep is of poor quality, it is so easy to slip into negativity, stress, and worry due to the depletion and dis-regulation of all our major bodily systems. Taking care of the quality of sleep we are having gives us the platform to be able to meet the crossroads of daily life with positivity, confidence and strength.

The perfect pre sleep tip is LEFT NOSTRIL BREATHING.

Our body is a finely tuned machine operating on positive and negative electrical currents. The negative current runs through your left nostril. It supports and stimulates our receptive, calming, and cooling nature. Alongside the parasympathetic nervous system and its ability to effectively support deep sleep cycles.

When you need to calm down, when your mind is full and racing fast, or when you body feels agitated or can’t go to sleep, try left nostril breathing.

Simply take your right hand and, with your fingers outstretched, block off your right nostril by putting gentle pressure on it with your right thumb. Keep the rest of your fingers pointing up.

With a long, slow, deep breath, gently inhale through your left nostril. Then, just as gently, exhale long, slowly and completely, again through the left nostril. Relax your body as you feel the relaxing, cooling breath bringing new life into your body. Relax even deeper with each exhale as you breathe out all tension, all stress, and all disease.

Practice for 3 - 11 minutes. When you are finished, if you are ready for bed, lay on your right side to keep the breath predominantly moving through the left nostril. Try it today and come back and left us know your experience.

Good sleep is vital to good health. Do you ever find it hard to turn off? Or is it difficult to stay asleep long enough to enter the deepest healing state for recovery?

One way in which Harmonyum works in the body is to regulate the autonomic nervous system; the equilibrium of which determines the health of both body and mind. The autonomous nervous system is composed of the sympathetic nervous system, which stimulates excitement, and the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes relaxation. Strong health is contingent upon these two systems working in harmony because together they coordinate the workings of our organs and bodily systems.

The stress of our modern lifestyle tends to over stimulate the sympathetic nervous system. Uncertainty, stimulant beverages, stressful work conditions, fear, and worry promote a state of hyper alertness. We then have a difficult time relaxing. As a result, the parasympathetic nervous system is weakened and cannot properly regulate body functions like digestion and assimilation of nutrients, repair and rejuvenation, or sleep.

Do you find it challenging to get to sleep and stay asleep? If so, don't ignore it. As the body becomes habitual. Strengthen your parasympathetic nervous system with regular Harmonyum treatments.

Are you feeling the pressure? That would be so understandable. So many aspects of our modern life are weakening our nervous system. If you have forgotten what a deep sense of calm feels like, Harmonyum healing is the perfect experience.

Harmonyum deeply replenishes the nervous system, unfolding an incredible restoration on all levels. In turn you are supporting yourself to more easily access the state of relaxation in other aspects of your rest and restore phases from sleep to down time.

How did you sleep last night? According to a June 2021 American Psychological Association article, “Psychologists are finding a range of sleep changes associated with the pandemic. Some people are sleeping more than ever, while others face shortened schedules, delayed schedules, or insomnia.” Disrupted sleep patterns can cause physical, mental, and emotional dis-regulation and challenges.

One of the gifts of Harmonyum Healing is that it brings the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system in balance. This equilibrium supports nervous system regulation. When we are in a heightened state of arousal (fear, anxiety, worry, uncertainty, too much social media, news, work, ) it’s hard to relax and get enough quality and quantity of sleep. And while some of us aren’t getting the recommended 7-9 hours of sleep, others are getting too much which has its own set of problems (brain fog, depression, fatigue, stagnation).

Have you experienced a change in your sleep pattern in 2020/2021? We’d love to hear about it and how it’s impacting your life. Please share below.

Studies show when you can take time to connect with your breath and practice meditation this can help reduce mental stress and help the body stay physically healthy. Even just taking five minutes a day to sit somewhere quiet and take slow breaths in and out for 3-5 minutes can help shift your mental attitude. As your breath slows so does your mind.

If you are new to meditation and conscious breathing you can start very simple with just setting a timer for just 3 minutes. Sit in a comfortable position, and turn your mind’s focus to your breath by slowly inhaling and exhaling. Inhale through the nose until you can not inhale anymore, imagine filling up your lungs like they are balloons. Exhale out through your nose until you can not exhale anymore, imagine the lungs emptying completely like all the air releasing from the balloon.

With each breath feel your mind slow down and your presence and awareness become clearer and stronger. Inviting the calm, grounds you back to this moment.

How do you calm your mind when you are feeling stressed or sad? Try Gyan Mudra! Mudras work like reflexology, sending a message for the body, mind and emotions to respond to.

The Gyan Mudra hand posture is a beautiful reset easing tensions. You place the tip of your index finger to touch the tip of the thumb and gently stretch all other fingers away from the palm of the hand. Then rest the back of your hands on your lap.

The index finger relates to energy of expansion and knowledge. The thumb is the grounding energy. This mudra is extremely calming and brings the practitioner a steady openness and ease, whether this is in meditation or just holding the posture with both hands while you bring some focus to slowing your breath. After a few breaths you will feel a calm and more present awareness, allowing you to choose how you want to be in and respond to life.

Our mental attitude in life will expand and inspire us or deplete us. When we feel stuck in life it might be because we are telling ourselves the same story on repeat or are not able to think about our situation from a different perspective. If we constantly think and speak negatively about something we will get negative results. We keep ourselves in a loop. Where your attention goes your energy flows.

The more conscious you become of the unconscious mental and emotional patterns in you, the more you are setting yourself up to sustain an evolving and healing version of yourself.

How do you shift your mental perspective in life when you feel stuck? Share your favorite tools with us so we can support each other.

Self healing and freedom is for everyone. This is the part of the journey that we are all equally responsible for. Freeing ourselves from our negative mental conditioning and reactiveness is an ongoing life process: to develop the awareness to be able to catch ourselves when we are feeding the negativity or unserving thought patterns or when we are making ourselves the victim.

Receiving Harmonyum on a regular basis causes our thoughts and perceptions to shift and come into a clearer focus, leading us to better understand ourselves and our tendencies. Use empathy and compassion to support your self-awareness so that every day we lovingly hold ourselves accountable to the thoughts and feelings we are having.

We are all human and are all going to experience moments of frustration and irritability, where our negative mind and patterns get the better of us. It is not how we fall in these moments but how we rise through them that counts every time. Harmonyum raises and expands our consciousness so that we may get in the driver's seat of who we are being with every thought.

Have you received a Harmonyum session before? Share your experience with us in the comments below. We love to learn about it.

How do you start your day?

"When you begin the day with a positive, joyful, peaceful outlook, you maximize the opportunities that come your way and open the door to a full manifestation of your dreams. Ongoing optimism may seem unrealistic, but, once the candle of optimism is lit, it casts away all darkness and draws others toward it. In turn, other candles are lit, until an abundance of light banishes all remnants of pessimism. It is essential, then, to stay positive in your mind and heart. By doing so, you contribute to the creation of a tapestry of light that includes a beautiful future of infinite and limitless abundance. Therefore, gaze at the shadows and believe, with all your heart, that one day the light you carry will dispel the shadows forever and contribute to increased peace and harmony in the world." ~ Dr. Levry
