From a new client for her first set of natural lashes.

They look so good/not fake that the only person who (and she noticed instantly) has noticed is my youngest daughter. The one who is all into makeup, lashes, etc. I knew she’d notice. When she first saw me after you put them on, she greeted me from 12’ away but stopped mid-sentence (“hey mom, I’m home….”) and rushed across the room. She put a hand beneath my chin, tilted my face up and then squealed: “Didyougetyourlashesdone??Ofcourseyoudid!!Ohmygoshthey’reBEAUTIFUL!!!” She would be a harsh critic if she didn’t think they were fantastic. So… I love them, my resident “expert” loves them and everyone else is either oblivious, envious or they’re trying to figure out why I look so fabulous 🤣

Hello beloved Asheville beauties. (I include all folks including some of my favorite 4 legged friends!) I haven’t posted in a bit but wanted to give an update on Dragonfly’s plan for reopening. The studio, home and property were spared from the flooding winds and falling trees. The basement in the property was sadly flooded. I have been staying w friends while the drying out process has been happening and to be safe it’s being treated for mold. Once I’m back in the house this weekend (I arrive Saturday oct 26) I’ll take additional steps to make sure the air quality is top notch.
I’ve gotten a fresh water spout container for washing hands in the bathroom. I figure I’d rather use fresh drinkable water for that and you would too!
All services are back and I’m able to perform all facials and lash extensions too. Internet is up and running for taking cc and Venmo and Apple Pay and as always I appreciate cash as well!

Side note: this has been an intense time for us all. So many feelings and experiences that none of us have ever experienced.

Dragonfly prides itself on being a safe peaceful healing space. It may be helpful for some to have a silent type deep nap approach and others may want to share experiences and just talk about what they’ve been through. With the exception of lash application which inhibits the ability to apply lashes if you are moving from talking, all ways of healing are welcome. We will get through this together.
