There was a time when I thought I needed to give up on makeup. Looking back, I realized I didn't need to quit, I just needed to rebrand.

My previous brand affordable beauty by slim was created during a season when I was broken but determined to keep going. I wanted to help women feel beautiful at an affordable price with affordable products. By doing so, that would alleviate the stress of feeling like they had to spend unnecessary money just to build self-confidence. As time went on, I realized there was a lot of pain and trauma attached to that brand name, and it no longer reflected who I was becoming.

Sometimes we think God is telling us to stop pursuing a dream, when he's really calling us to pause, heal, and prepare us for what's next.

During my time away, I couldn't stop thinking about makeup. Even while building another business, the passion never left. I became aware that it wasn't the end of the makeup journey, It was the beginning of a new season.

It takes courage to keep showing up after taking a break. But it's never truly starting over. I am starting again with more wisdom, more experience, and a spirit that refuses to give up on the gifts God has placed inside of me.

This time, it's about more than makeup. It's about creating an experience where every woman feels seen, encouraged, and valued. A safe space where she can simply be herself. Yes, you'll leave looking beautiful on the outside, but my prayer is that you leave feeling more confident on the inside too. It's about using my gifts to give God the glory rather than just conforming to the things of the world.

Social media has changed so much, and I won't pretend it's always my favorite place to be. However, I never know who might need encouragement from one post, so here I am.

Today, I give God all the glory for blessing me with another year of life. I am also celebrating another major milestone which is completing my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management! 🎉🎓

God has been so good!!!!!!!!!!
I share these accomplishments not to boast, but to encourage others to start believing that anything is possible when you trust God and the plan he has for your life.

My journey has not been easy at all. There were seasons when I had to be reconstructed, refined, and rebuilt. I often tell my cousin that Navy SEAL training is nothing compared to the training required to become a true servant of the Lord.

The process of growth, healing, obedience, and surrender has challenged me in ways I never imagined. However, I am more than grateful for the experience.

I've always been an eager continuous learner since I was a young girl, but past mistakes and life circumstances caused delays in my growth. I am thankful I have another chance to not only grow academically, and professionally, but also spiritually.

God never abandoned me or his purpose for my life. God used every setback, every lesson, every closed door, and every hardship to shape me into who I am becoming today. I could not have accomplished any of this without him. I decrease daily so that God can get all the glory.

I look forward to using the skills and knowledge I have acquired to help others with their personal and professional development!

As a final note, if you are feeling discouraged because your journey looks different from everyone else's, don't give up! Keep going.

Seek the kingdom of God so that your heart is set on what he wants and resist the temptation to be overcome by fleshly desires of our temporal limited existence on earth. For, God's timing is perfect, and his plans are greater than anything we can imagine!

Hello to anyone this post may reach who has ever supported my makeup journey or any of my business ventures—I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has truly meant so much to me.

I started doing makeup to show women that you can look and feel beautiful without breaking the bank. I promoted affordable products that gave the same results as high-end ones, and I wanted to prove it’s not always about the product, it’s about the technique. For me, it was about starting with what I had, even when I didn’t have much.

What many don’t know is that I began this journey while in an extremely abusive relationship that drained me mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. Makeup became my escape and a way to reclaim my confidence and joy.

Over time, I launched businesses offering makeup services and even selling lashes. However, between life’s challenges and my lack of consistency, I fell short of what I envisioned. Somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of fulfillment.

What started as a mission to uplift and inspire through beauty slowly turned into chasing monetization, brand deals, and “being seen.” It left me drained. Deep down, I knew that wasn’t the end of my story. I just needed to realign with my true purpose.

I’ve always had a passion for creating, whether through beauty, writing, or inspiring others. I even wrote a book on self-motivation and began encouraging people to embrace self-care.

At my core, I’ve always been called to motivate and encourage. This isn’t new, but now it’s being packaged with real value and true purpose.

My spiritual growth has revealed to me that my gifts and talents are meant to impact generations. So this isn’t goodbye to makeup,it’s simply a shift. It’s time for me to share my testimony: how I survived, what I’ve learned, and how I continue to grow.
