You want to get stronger. You want to see muscle gains. So how exactly do you achieve that? Enter progressive overload. You have to keep challenging the muscles in order to see results. You can’t just keep doing the same movements with the same weight and rep scheme. Swipe to learn how to implement this into your workout!!
Always trying to find ways to make that mind muscle connection. Instead of pull through a today I opted for a band around my hips. Hinge forward to feel those hamstrings stretch and then driving the hips forward for that glute squeeze. I’ll add more weight to these another time. Just wanted to feel the movement today 💪🏻

From a few months ago starting a proper off season to yesterday. It’s not all about building muscle. It’s also about shaping the muscle. When I train, I train hard. I train with purpose. I focus on that mind muscle connection and make sure each rep counts! That along with learning how to people fuel my body at the appropriate times has been key. I have a few spots open for training starting next month. This year is already half over- let’s finish the year strong!!! 💪🏻💪🏻
A little shoulder work today- 30 reps of different variations of partial lateral raises. 30 regular, 30 with hands turned out (thumbs out), 30 bent over rear delt flys. These are all partial reps- keep tension on that muscle through the entire set. Try these on your next shoulder day and let me know how it goes!
