The ridges along the sides of our cereal/soup bowls are the imprint of Colleen’s hands pressing into the clay as she throws them on the wheel.

A friend taught us about the Italian tradition of Acqua di San Giovanni. You gather fragrant flowers and leaves on the evening of June 23rd, pour some water on them and leave them outside to gather the dew overnight. On the morning of the 24th, everyone the family washes their face and hands in the fragrant water. Try it! It’s lovely. 💗🌸 .
