🌿💧 The Bottle That Kept Showing Up on My Bathroom Counter 💧🌿

When I first made Hair Quencher, I handed my husband a little 2 oz bottle.

Not because I thought it would last, but because I wasn’t convinced he’d actually use it.

Then every so often, I’d find that little bottle sitting on my bathroom counter.

Empty.

That was his not-so-subtle way of saying, “Can you refill this?”

Refill after refill, it became obvious this wasn’t something he was using once in a while … it had become part of his daily routine.

Caught him “working hard” at today’s market.

(To be fair, he did help set everything up first.) 😉

🌿✨ Swag Bag Inside a Swag Bag ✨🌿

One of the fun community events planned for this year’s Thiensville Farmers Market
is a special swag bag giveaway for the first 10 moms attending the MKE Babbling Babes Moms Walk on June 23rd.

Market vendors were invited to contribute something that represents their business.

Since presentation is half the fun, I had some burlap bags on hand and thought they’d be the perfect finishing touch.

The end result? A swag bag inside a swag bag.

(Stay tuned… this little project may have sparked a few new ideas.)

Looking forward to seeing all the moms on June 23rd and wishing them lots of fun discovering all the goodies the local vendors have put together.

One thing I’ve learned since building my greenhouse is that growing herbs isn’t just about growing herbs.

It’s about learning everything that comes with them.

The soil.
The environment.
The pests.
The successes.
The failures.
The plants that thrive.
And the ones that teach you patience.

🌿 Thiensville Farmers Market Day #1 is in the books! 🌿

What a wonderful way to kick off the season.

After all the planning, organizing, packing, labeling, loading, unloading, setting up, and then adjusting on the fly for the weather and temperatures, it was so rewarding to finally spend the day outside sharing A to Z Apothecary with the community.

Every market teaches me something new. From learning how different products handle the heat and sun, to finding better ways to display and organize everything, there’s always a learning curve, but most of all, I loved being outdoors, soaking up some sunshine, breathing fresh air, talking with so many wonderful people, and spending the day surrounded by nature.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared stories, made a purchase, or simply said hello. 💚🌿

I’m already looking forward to next week and the rest of the market season.

😂🌿 One of my favorite conversations at the Farmers Market yesterday…

A gentleman stopped by my booth and jokingly asked:

“Do you have anything for old age?”

Without even thinking, I replied:

“Absolutely.”

His eyes got wide.

“Oh really?”

And without missing a beat, I said:

“Happiness.”

For a second he just stared at me.

Then we both laughed.

The truth is, as much as I love herbs, glycerites, teas, salves, and all the things I make, there isn’t a remedy that can stop time. Growing older is a privilege many don’t get.

But happiness?
A good laugh.
A purpose.
People who love you.
A walk in the sunshine.
A dog that still thinks you’re the greatest person on earth.
A hobby that makes you lose track of time.
A community that knows your name.

Those things might not cure old age, but they sure make the journey a lot sweeter.

So if anyone is looking for my best anti-aging remedy today…
