Today we’re celebrating 2 years of McKenna being part of our team! 🖤

She came to us as our funny, talented nail tech, but apparently one specialty wasn’t enough for her. 😂 Since then, she’s stepped into the hair stylist world AND added lashes to her list, and she’s been absolutely rocking all of it. 👏🏼

McKenna is hardworking, hilarious, full of personality, and definitely keeps us laughing around the salon. She’s always willing to learn something new, put in the work, and keep pushing herself to grow.

It’s been so much fun watching her talents expand over these last two years, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come and everything she continues to build.

We’re so happy to have her as part of our team and can’t wait to see what she decides to add next. 😂🖤

I’ve noticed something funny about criticism… I’ve never had someone with better hair criticize mine. I’ve never had someone putting in serious work at the gym criticize me for posting my workouts. But I HAVE had someone who wasn’t doing s**t with their own house send someone to check up on mine. 😂 I’ve had people trash the life I was living while not exactly living a lifestyle I’d trade mine for. 😬🤔 And somewhere along the way, that taught me something: Consider the source. Not every opinion deserves weight just because someone was bold enough to say it. Or the 5 minutes they were demanding. 😂 Before you let someone’s criticism make you question yourself, ask yourself one thing: Would I trade places with this person? Their work ethic? Their lifestyle? Their character? Their results? Their peace? No? Then stop giving their opinion so much power. ✋🏼 I stopped letting opinions from people I wouldn’t trade places with change the way I feel about the life I’m building. Because people who are busy building usually aren’t standing around inspecting what everyone else is building. So do your hair. Post your workouts. Build your house. Live your life. UNAPOLOGETICALLY.
