My "Dandelion" soap was just cut today. 4 to 6 weeks for the cure time depending on the temperature. My dandelion flower infused olive oil is so beautiful. You can see a huge difference in the color of just poured soap and 24 hours of drying. I will have limited supply due to the time it takes to infuse and the availability of the flowers.

I'm really excited to create my newest soap "DANDELION". My organic olive oil is being infused with fresh picked dandelion flowers from my yard. A lot of people think dandelions are just pesky weeds, but I treasure them. As a soap maker, I love to use dandelions to make beautiful handmade cold process soap bars. I find it exciting to take a simple flower and transform it into a luxurious soap. Making dandelion soap is like an art – it combines science, creativity, and appreciating nature’s gifts.

Dandelions are loaded with vitamin A which helps stimulate cell turnover and rejuvenate dull, dry skin. The vitamin C in dandelions brightens skin tone and combats damaging free radicals that lead to premature aging. And the flower petals even contain gentle alpha-hydroxy acids that provide mild exfoliation.
But dandelions don’t just nourish your skin on the surface. They’re also anti-inflammatory, which can help calm conditions like eczema and psoriasis. The milky sap has pain-relieving properties that relax redness and swelling. And all those antioxidants help protect skin from environmental stressors

All those good-for-you vitamins and compounds directly into the soap! With every use, you’re treating your skin to a gentle dose of dandelion benefits.

My choice of essential oil for this soap will be a blend of Lemongrass, Sweet Orange and Peppermint.

IN 6 weeks, it will be ready for purchase. A very limited supply will be available. It takes a ton of flowers to get a small amount of infused oil. I will post some pictures after I cut it.

My newest soaps that were just cut today. So, a long 4-to-6-week dry time. The soap on the left is a blend of oatmeal, milk, honey and almond. It is feminine/soothing and for relaxation. Soap on right is my man's soap. It is a blend of musk, spice and warm woods. It is a nostalgic blend of the classic barbershop scent 🧼🫧🛀The coloring I used is all from dried herbs. The man soap is orange peel and spirulina, and the woman's is turmeric and rose hips.

Homemade version of Vabo Rub. Organic coconut oil, beeswax, Eucalyptus essential oil, Peppermint essential oil, Lavender essential oil. Rub is in a 4-ounce tin. Use like Vicks but no turpentine oil or Petroleum on your skin. Each tin is $5. Porch pick-up or local meet at Calico Creek, Mill Hall or Weis in Lock Haven. NOT for use on children under 6 due to the essential oil amount. I have a children's rub with less essential oils in it for children under 6. Never use essential oils on children 2 and under.

Wow, it feels like forever that I have made soap🧼🛀. But I have gotten back into the swing of things and have created 4 new scented soaps. I have been taking some soap classes over the summer and have learned a few new things, like swirling and coloring. My newest soaps will be ready in 6 weeks, just in time for your early holiday shopping or just for you to enjoy. Here are the scents and what makes them smell 🥰so good. (($5.00 a bar))
1. AUTUMN (brown, green, yellow) is a combination of cloves, cinnamon, apple, orange and vanilla. 🍁🍂
2. #5 is a version of Channel #5 (purple, yellow, pink, cream) with Rose, Jasmine, Lemon, Lilly of the valley, vanilla, sandalwood. It is elegant feminine scent. 💃💅
3. PEACEFUL LAVENDER (purple/cream) is a sweet soft scent with a combination of Lavender, Eucalyptus, Musk, oat milk, Patchouli and Cedar) 💜
4. FLANNEL (red, black) is my "manly" soap. It is a combination of orange, bergamot, patchouli, cedarwood, vanilla and nutmeg. 🤎🧔💪
