According to the Milwaukee Police Department, Jamal was taken around 7 p.m. on July 11 by a suspect driving a white Jeep Renegade SUV. The individual was reportedly wearing a black hoodie, black face mask, and was armed with a handgun.

Surveillance footage shows Jamal riding his bike when the SUV turns around and heads toward him. In the video, Jamal can be heard screaming and calling out for his father.

Milwaukee police have launched an urgent manhunt after 7-year-old #JamalWhite was abducted on July 11th with a neighbor’s security camera chillingly capturing the boy’s frantic screams as he was forced into a car.

Jamal was last seen around 7 p.m. near 61st and Hustis on the city’s northwest side. Witnesses say a masked man pulled up in a white Jeep Renegade, pointed a handgun, and snatched Jamal off the street.

The abduction was so brazen that nearby residents could hear the child’s terrified screams echoing through the neighborhood — a sound caught on home surveillance video now in police hands.

Jamal’s devastated family says they’ve “been up all night praying” for his safe return. His grandmother told reporters they are barely functioning, desperate for answers and pleading for the public’s help.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert across Wisconsin, urging residents to look out for the white Jeep Renegade SUV. They’re also asking anyone in the area to check doorbell or security footage from Thursday evening in case it shows the vehicle.

Jamal is described as a Black male, 4 feet tall, around 80 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts when he was taken.
