I don’t have a middle ground

it’s either everything
or nothing

I don’t even realize I’m doing it at first

it just feels like I’m thinking things through
being aware
being prepared

and then suddenly everything feels heavier
and I don’t know why

does your brain do this too?

I keep thinking I’ve figured it out

like I finally understand what’s happening
and how to stop it

and then it comes back
just slightly different

but it’s the same thing
