The MEMBER PORTAL is your one-stop-shop for so much information!
Wanna know who uses Equity contracts in the Midwest? Check out the “Theatre Directory” located under the “Actor” or “Stage Manager” icons. In the 25-26 theater season, there were 69 productions that contracted Equity Members in MN.
There are a variety of different contracts we use in the area, negotiated by different business reps. Looking for YOUR business rep? Click on “Find Your Rep” and scroll down to “Business Representatives” and search for MN.
Wanna learn more about your contract? Check out the “Document Library and Forms” and search for “Rulebooks”. You might be surprised at what you can learn.

Homepage The Character and Parade Cast Members who help bring the magic of Disneyland to life have been bargaining for their first union contract since October 2024. While there has been some progress at the negotiating table, Disneyland management will not come to terms for a deal.

Community Conversation and Plan for Action Regarding Our Theatre Community on July 8!
Hosted by local arts leaders including Mark Valdez (Mixed Blood), Wendy Knox (Frank Theatre), Signe Harriday and Noel Raymond (Pillsbury House Theatre), Leah Cooper (Wanderlust), Fran DeLeon (Theatre Mu), Kelli Foster Warder (Artistry), Nicole Watson (Playwrights' Center), and others!
This is a great opportunity to come and share YOUR thoughts and feelings about the state of our theater community!
A note from Wendy at Frank Theatre: "Our theater institutions are at a precarious moment as funding is shrinking, press coverage is disappearing, venues are disappearing, and theaters are producing smaller and fewer works as they manage their budgets. We have learned what we're capable of when we care for the whole of our community. This is not a moment of despair, but of exploring ways of taking action to shore up our ecology."
This event is open to the entire theater community (artists, audiences, board members, funders, scholars—everyone who has a stake or interest in our local theatre)! Snacks and beverages provided.
Wednesday, July 8, 6-8pm
Mixed Blood Theatre
1501 S 4th Street, Minneapolis

Join your fellow union members in the Twin Cities Pride parade this Sunday, 6/28! Link in the comments to sign up and get details — wear your Equity merch! 💪🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
UPDATE: If you decide you'd like to join us, we are marching in solidarity with the Minnesota AFL-CIO. Our unit number is 119 and we will be lining up on staging block 8, located on 3rd Street South between 4th Avenue South and 5th Avenue South. Parade organizers are asking that marchers be assembled by 10:30am. Look for union banners and people wearing t-shirts from unions across our Labor Movement. We'll be there with our Equity banner, likely alongside our SAG-AFTRA friends! Hope to see you there!
