Next year makes 10 years that I've been doing hair!

Many of you have been with me since I started!
In honor of us coming up on a 10 year anniversary, I've decided to bring traditional loc retwist prices to my 2021 price of 125 for shoulder length, 150 for back length.

With that being said, there are a few things to consider before booking.
Unfortunately, the amount of time microloc services take, I can't change that price it will remain the same.

-This change will be effective September 1st.
-If you have not yet been serviced at the new location you must pay regular price before I can give you the $125 service.

Please check the calendar for openings!

Also moving forward, I AM PROMISING A 48HR RESPONSE TIME.
There's no secret that my response time is terrible.
If you do not hear from me after a 48hrs, I will provide a discount on your next service to hold myself accountable.

First of all,

Thank you all for being understanding as I transitioned to a new space, started school, and adapted to a new family dynamic!
It's been rough, but I have some good news!
JUNE 30th, I will FINALLY have some help!
A very talented loctician in our area, named Ebony Woods, will be coming to offer services on weekends and evenings when I am not available.
I will share more about her schedule at the end of this week and how to book her, but for now let's talk subscription..

This is a $25 membership fee.
If you and one other person who is serviced here at The Lox Studio join under one membership, the fee is $40 for both.
You also keep access to the member prices, but non-member prices will be strictly enforced starting 7/1.

Why am I doing this?
Too many of you are going extremely long in between retwists. I completely understand times are difficult, and this is my solution to having you in my chair as often as possible without constantly paying for a full service.
You will be able to come in for one shampoo service a month.
This does not include a style.
This shampoo service is for scalp health and eliminating the amount of buildup that happens in between services.

Hey everyone!

Last month, I let you all know that I couldn't approve requested appointments until June. Well, June is here, and I have some schedule updates for you!

My current availability is:
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
Wednesday & Friday: 1:00pm – 4:30pm
One weekend per month (TBD — regular clients will be contacted directly when that's confirmed)
Some evening slots are also available — reach out with your availability, and I'll do my best to find something that works!

If your June appointment hasn't been approved or has been declined, please go back in and select a new date that works for you. If you're working around an important event and can't find anything, don't hesitate to reach out. Otherwise, please book the first available slot!

A reminder that I am still very much working and have no plans to stop. This season of my life calls for me to invest in my growth, so my availability will look a little different as I pursue higher education. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. I always want you to feel comfortable coming to me so I can take care of you the best way I can.

Thank you all for your patience while I had the site down over the last month.

I really needed the time to reset and refocus.

The calendar is open for May, but there are no weekend or evening appointments available.
If you need an evening or weekend appointment, please send me a message, and I can try my best to accommodate you.

Due to the confusion about the membership, I will wait until
June 1st to launch, to make sure everyone has an understanding of what the new system will look like.
- As of now, you can still book under MEMBER SERVICES.
The non-member service price will go into effect on June 1.

Any June appointments will not be approved until June 1.
I start classes in June and will have some changes, so please make sure you keep that in mind when booking.

The rebrand is here!

If you've been to see me over the last two months you know there are so many changes taking place in my life.

I am going back to school in one month to pursue a degree, my significant other is taking a job in Indianapolis that will require weekend commutes, and I am actively finishing up a certification course that will elevate my services.

I've (luckily) maintained my position as one of the most talented and sought out locticians in our area. I say that with the utmost gratitude for those who support me and share me with others.

With that being said, my time and availability will be limited, but I still want to remain available to the people who have been with me over the years.

I'm introducing a membership model that completely changes the way I manage my schedule and the clients I service.
I'm officially rebranding my space to The Lox Studio.

The Lox Membership

This limited availability membership provides access to a private calendar.
My site will no longer be open to the public — to have the link, you must be an enrolled member.

Here are some of the perks:

— One complimentary shampoo service every month
— Locked in pricing at current rate — membership pricing does not change as long as your membership is active
— $25 monthly recurring payment that gives you access to premium rates and priority booking

Membership is limited to 65 clients. I will make myself available only to those who are committed and consistent with their loc journey.

These changes will not only create a structured model for my clients, but will give me a simple and refined system that makes it easy for me to still perform at a high level — not only for my clients, but for my family and personal endeavors as well.

The site opens May 1st under a new link. To have that link you must be enrolled in the Lox Membership.

I will be sending full details on how to enroll tomorrow. In the meantime, reply to this email to let me know you're in and I'll make sure you're first on the list.

Quick Update

Hey ya'll,

I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of communication over the past week. I underestimated the amount of work needed to fully update my systems and get everything running properly.

My booking calendar will reopen on May 1st, and I will begin taking clients again starting May 5th. I am still finalizing my schedule and completing the setup of my new suite, so I appreciate your patience as I work through the final details.
If you already have an appointment scheduled, it will be honored as planned. If you reached out to book, I will respond as soon as I can.
There are a lot of moving pieces in this transition, and it’s important for me to build a solid system now so the rest of the year runs smoothly for both myself and my clients.
Thank you all for your continued support during this transition. Please keep an eye out for the next two emails, where I’ll be outlining the major updates and changes moving forward.
