“Does the Keratin Bond Pro Clip actually grip?”
Yes. You can see how sturdy it is using my less dominant hand. Once that hair is locked in, it is not moving.
“What about frizzy or shorter pieces in the section?”
Everybody has different lengths going on. That’s usually why they’re sitting in your chair in the first place. Take your clean section, lift the hair straight up, place the clip parallel to your section, bring the hair down and clip. Then a little strong hold hairspray from far away, comb it down, and every strand falls into line.
“Can I get the bond close to the scalp?”
Yes and no, and this is the part new extension stylists get wrong. You don’t want it right on the scalp because you’ll lose that 360 mobility. But it has to sit high enough to get real longevity. This clip puts you in the sweet spot every time, and that’s how you build the muscle memory.
One thing that does not change: you still have to assess the hair. The density you pick up has to match the bond you’re applying. The clip doesn’t replace your skill. It keeps you organized and fast so your skill can show up.
