Meal Plan Tip

Double the ingredients for your favorite dinner so you will have leftovers. You can have it for lunch or add some variation to the meal for another weekday meal.

For example, I'm making sweet chili chicken in the crockpot tomorrow for a soft taco dinner. I'll save some of the breasts for another night and add a vegetable and rice. Any left over shredded meat from the tacos will be used on salads or mixed with rice--a quick snack before my workout.

Meal planning tip for busy people. Save all your menu plans so you don't need to stress because you have no time to prepare a menu plan. Write the meals and snacks in your calendar. That way you won't skip a meal.

This is my grocery list for this week. Menu planning is an essential tool for losing weight. It also saves you money. If you don't believe me, then save all your receipts from restaurants and add them up at the end of the month. Plus, you don't know what additives are in your restaurant foods. 😒😝

I will start the 2nd week of Body Beast tomorrow. This is a weight lifting program so I have to really dial in my nutrition to get lean. 😩🍎🥒🥑🍳

Tough Love Friday. How much sugar do you consume in one day? Check the food labels and fast food websites for the amount of sugar. Four grams of sugar equals one teaspoon. It doesn't take long to consume 10 teaspoons in one day. Sugar is not our friend and it goes by many names.

I'm sure a lot of you can relate with the statement below. You try treatment after treatment, yet nothing seems to work. Having a chronic illness is stressful--and your body doesn't handle stress well. So it's time to take some proactive steps.

I believe all of the GMO foods really messes our organs up. The government nor the medical community will never acknowledge that claim. Too much money is at risk. Politicians?? Capitol Hill? They just care about their re-elections.

I've done some soul searching over the past 6 months. I think we really need to make sure we protect our body's organs and our children's organs.

Over the next few months I will be blogging and posting about "whole" health. Tune into tomorrow. I'll be live here--showing you my meal prep for the week.

BTW--Day 2 of Body Beast. Did legs today. Ouch!!

Started Body Beast today. It's a body-building program. I didn't know that a body builder's diet is all about not only what to eat, but when to eat certain foods to get the best results. As always, these programs focus on eating good carbs--slow burning fuel so it doesn't turn into sugar.

I'm getting quite good at meal planning and meal prepping. I do my grocery shopping on Sunday or Monday, then meal prep the following day. Doing it all in one day is too exhausting.

One workout done and 89 days to go!

Did you know that PCOS symptoms can occur in girls as young as 11-years-old?

Scary—isn’t it?

But if you, your mother, or sister have been diagnosed with PCOS, then your daughter may be at risk of having PCOS too.

So don’t blow off any symptoms you’re experiencing as just “going through puberty.” If you’re experiencing excess facial hair (chin, above lip, arms, upper back) and/or have severe acne that won’t clear-up with medication, then talk to someone you can trust.

You want to get an early diagnosis in order to avoid risks associated with the condition such as infertility, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Look for the following symptoms.

●Your menstrual cycle is irregular or you have excessive bleeding.
●You have excess body hair and acne
●Are obese.

What if I told you that there was a way you get pregnant faster with out spending thousands of dollars on fertility treatments?
