Clocked in for the transformations ✨
Clocked out for the memories 🤍

✨ Remember Mackenzy from a few posts back?!

She originally came in with color that wasn’t quite what she had in mind—too solid blonde, uneven, and overly warm, damaged...

9 weeks ago, we started the correction process.🌿

When she came back this weekend, I was honestly so happy with how her color had faded—soft, even, and healthier (which tells me the treatment plan is doing its job 🙌).

This time, she was ready to fully embrace the darker side—no more holding onto the blonde, but still keeping that beautiful dimension.
We softened her regrowth with a base color and used a reverse braided balayage technique to add richness and depth, then toned with a soft teddy bear blonde.

And of course, we finished with another Botanical Repair Treatment—because after major lightening, restoring the hair’s strength is everything. It helps rebuild bonds, improves softness, and even helps the color last longer. ✨

We’re both over the moon with how this journey is going 💛
What do you think?!

✨ This is Kay. One of the first guests who truly welcomed me into this new city and salon—and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

From the beginning, she trusted me completely… and honestly, it feels like we’ve known each other for years. 💛

We’ve been working toward this moment, and today she said, “let’s just go for it.”
A perfectly tailored stacked bob, and that little tuck? Everything. ✂️

With bobs like this, head shape really is the foundation—and when it all lines up, it’s magic.

For her color, we kept it soft and dimensional with a light golden blonde base and deeper golden lowlights. As we move into spring and summer, we’ll slowly brighten things up even more. 🌿

These are the kind of transformations—and connections—that mean the most to me.

Some days... it seems I get to perform miracles.

This sweet girl came to me after a recent salon visit left her with harsh contrast, uneven gold mids + ends, and significant damage —

We brought depth back with a reverse balayage + soft color melt, honoring her natural level and creating a blended, wearable result that feels like her again.

It's certainly not perfect but she's definitely on the right track to move forward. We'll continue with Aveda's Botanical Repair Treatments during and between color appointments to get her hair back to its healthiest!

She wanted collaboration, guidance, and a stylist who loves creating shape, volume + texture—and I was so honored she chose to sit in my chair. These are the kind of moments that make building a new clientele feel less daunting and so much more exciting. 💕

She wanted ✨all the blonde✨
Mom wanted ✨low-maintenance✨
And me? I just wanted everyone to leave smiling. 😏

So we landed on the perfect in-between: super bright, lived-in blonde with no harsh grow-out.

She came in a little hesitant… and left completely obsessed. 💛
Plus we gave her hair some extra love with Aveda’s Botanical Repair, so not only is it blonder, it’s healthier than before. 👏

Because blonde and strong? That’s the vibe. ✨

There’s pre-vacation packing… and then there’s pre-vacation hair.

Anna’s headed to the beach, so we brightened her balayage, warmed things up, and gave her that “effortless glow” energy that goes perfectly with salt air and sunsets. 🌅

If your suitcase is full but your hair’s not ready, consider this your sign. ✨

Summer mood: effortless hair and zero drama 😎💇‍♀️
This color? She’s chill. She’s dimensional. She grows out like a pro and doesn’t ask for much — kinda like your dream friend group.

Created with Aveda’s new demi color for those who want to look high-maintenance but live low-maintenance. 💅

Michelle🖤This is an example of using Demi permanent color to blend grey but not cover it completely. The goal is a very soft grow out. Demi permanent color makes virtually no change to the natural hair, giving it almost no line of demarcation as the hair grows. Permanent color makes permanent changes to the hair resulting in a hard line as the hair grows out. We also used teasylites to give brightness and dimension but again, no harsh line as it grows. Throw in a gloss and Botanical Repair Treatment and you've got the perfect low damage, low maintenance yet on trend hair color!!
