Have you ever had a feeling about something before you could put it into words?
Many of us have experienced a knot in our stomach, a sense of relief, a surge of excitement, or the feeling that something simply wasn’t right. Yet we’re often taught to trust our thoughts and reason things out while ignoring the signals coming from our bodies.
Our upcoming workshop, Accessing Your Inner Guidance, with Theresa Pettersen-Chu, explores the connection between body awareness, intuition, and decision-making. Through guided exercises and experiential practices, you’ll learn how to better recognize and work with your own inner guidance system, and gain greater clarity and direction, wherever you may be in your life.
No experience required—just curiosity and an open heart.

Have you ever worried about someone and not known what to say?
Many of us hesitate because we’re afraid of getting it wrong. We don’t want to offend someone, make things worse, or say the “wrong” thing.
But when someone is struggling, a caring conversation can make the difference.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to fix the situation. Sometimes the most important thing you can do is start the conversation.
As part of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, we’re sharing a few ways to start a conversation when you’re concerned about someone you care about.
💛 Save this post in case you ever need it.
💛 Share it with someone who might find it helpful.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health or su***de crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or seek emergency assistance.

A strong therapeutic community needs more than different specialties. It needs different perspectives, experiences, and ways of understanding the people we serve.
We’re proud of the diversity within the Mind Body Therapy Collective, and we’re continuing to grow our community of BIPOC therapists and practitioners.
If you’re looking for a professional home where you can maintain your independent practice while connecting with other practitioners, collaborating, and growing in a like-minded community, we’d love to hear from you.

Many people come to therapy saying, “I understand what happened to me, but I still feel stuck.”
Lisa Weinberg, PsyD, specializes in trauma and PTSD treatment and uses an integrative approach that combines EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and relational psychotherapy. Her work focuses not only on insight, but on helping clients feel more connected to themselves, their bodies, and their relationships.
Lisa believes that healing is shaped by family history, culture, relationships, and life experiences—and that people are often far more resilient than they realize.
💚 If Lisa’s approach sounds like it might meet you where you are right now, we invite you to learn more or book an appointment using the link in our bio.

What does Reiki actually feel like? What happens in a session?
Reiki can mean different things to different people. But the experience itself is often much more approachable than you might expect: you stay fully clothed, get comfortable, settle into a guided meditation, and receive Reiki through light touch or hands held just above the body.
Some people notice warmth, tingling, emotions, or a profound sense of relaxation. Others simply feel calm and rested.
Jodi Holmes, Reiki Master and Teacher, offers individual Reiki sessions, supporting people as they navigate stress and anxiety, grief and life transitions, or simply seek to connect more deeply with their inner selves.
If you’ve ever been curious about Reiki, we invite you to visit the link in our bio to learn more about Jodi and schedule an appointment.
