Guide me, Lord

Dear Sisters in Christ,

I believe God spoke to my heart today to write down what makes a marriage strong as a Christian and as a wife.
There is no perfect man in this world. When problems come with our husbands, we should try to understand them. Yes, it is not easy, especially because we did not grow up together and we did not know each other before this age — and then we marry someone who once felt like a stranger.
God spoke to my heart that marriage is not about giving up or quitting when trouble comes. If you do not understand the situation and you feel stressed and hurt, just take time. Take a moment for yourself. Think about it. Pray about it. Let yourself have peace and let God dwell in your heart. Talk to Him, and God will speak to you.
Today, it has been eight years that my marriage has felt so heavy, but I still believe God is working in our hearts and teaching us to love, forgive, and understand each other more.
Because marriage is a covenant — not just a covenant with your partner or husband, but a covenant with God that no man can break. Many people do not understand that marriage is not about giving up when troubles come.
Marriage is bound by God. Whatever problem you may encounter, as a husband or as a wife, come to God and ask what you should do about it — not to break it, but to fix it. God always has an answer if you are humble enough to seek it.
Ask yourself: Are you truly seeking an answer to fix the problem, or are you looking for a reason to break the covenant? There is no quitting in a Christian marriage. If you claim to be a Christian, if you claim to be a daughter of God, do not give up.
Strive to be who God wants you to be. Try to understand even when things feel un-understandable. Learn to keep your mouth shut when you want to speak out or fight, and try to stay calm when there is chaos and trouble around you, in your home and with your children, keep your marriage until the end.
When things go wrong, always remember the good — why you chose that person, why you loved that person. Think about what makes this marriage work.
We as wives are emotional. We have the ability to read gestures and the empathy to sense when something is wrong. Men often have the ability to keep things inside and hide them, and sometimes that is why we fight or raise our voices about something we don't fully understand — and we contribute to making it more escalated.
So as a Christian woman, try to learn to submit to your husband, even when it is difficult. For myself, I have a hard time doing it and dealing with it. Many times I have thought I should find another place to live, away from my husband, but God always speaks to me: "You can't do that. You chose him. You married him."
So when things go wrong, you can't just escape and go away. You need to find a way to fix it. Don't wait for your husband to make the first move.

Marriage is not easy but the goal is run race together till the end! God will help you through.

Suffering will be a part of our lives as Christians. The New Testament is filled with warnings about the suffering Christians will incur because of their decision to follow Christ and not the ways of the world. Millions of Christians across the world are subjected to torture, isolation, and mockery just because they have chosen to follow Christ. But Christ has also assured us that we will not endure this suffering alone, and a reward lies ahead for all of those who suffer for the name of Jesus Christ.

• Simplified: May God make our work successful and establish what we do.
This verse is a prayer asking God to:
• Make our work successful: Give us the skills, resources, and opportunities to do our jobs well.
• Establish what we do: Make our efforts lasting and meaningful.
In simpler terms, this verse is asking God to help us do our best work and make it count.

Dear God, in this world there are so many people, organizations and corporations the enemy is trying to use to speak against You and who You really are. But I know the truth and I know that no other word, apart from Yours, will last for ages to come. Father, may I also be a vessel used to speak of Your goodness and Your everlasting love and mercy. May I be able to minister to men and women and tell them of this great salvation, an expression of Your deep love for Man. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
