Bugabeanie corn bags

I cannot begin to explain how useful a corn bag is. It can be stored in the freezer (we have 2 in ours at all times) or it can be warmed in the microwave for 45-90 seconds, or longer depending on your temperature preference. The corn holds and releases heat or cold at a slow rate for up to an hour. The corn allows the shape to mold just where you need it, and it has a comfortable weight to it. I use corn over other fillers, like buckwheat for example, simply because it is cleaner. It doesn't mold or mildew easily, and it is less of an allergen. I also use rice, or a combination of corn and rice, if you choose to have it scented with aromatherapy essential oils. The rice distributes the essential oils, better than the corn. It also is a sturdy and clean filler. The bags are great for headaches, abdominal cramps, neck or back pain, just relaxing, among many other things. My husband recently had bells palsy and was told to keep his face warm to speed up recovery. He told me that the corn bag was the only thing that brought him relief from the nerve pain. My 4 year old likes using them on his legs for growing pains, when he has a fever, or on his tummy for constipation. I have a wide variety of fabric to match anyone's taste!
