Jays Barber Shop llc

Hello everyone!

Due to a heavy increase in no shows and last minute cancellations. I am going to have to implement a no show/late cancel fee, with a card on file.

I really did not want to have to do this, but it has gotten to the point my other clients are being affected.

I understand life happens and things come up, however commitment and communication go a long ways.

If you are 15 minutes or more late for a 45 minute appointment, that doesn’t leave me with enough time to do what’s needed for you and the next client.

If you cancel an appointment with less than an hours notice, there is no chance someone else can get that slot.

I used to do a “three strikes system” but after so many no shows in the last few weeks I’m going to have to go to a zero tolerance policy for first time clients no showing/late cancel.

If you make an appointment with me for the first time and cannot make it, PLEASE CONTACT ME! I have a digital assistant so you won’t even have to talk to a person. You can cancel in the app or with the digital receptionist!

YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED AT TIME OF SCHEDULING. I’ll still run payment in shop after services rendered, cash, card or tap. The card on file will only be charged if you NO SHOW or LAST MINUTE CANCEL.

I hope everyone understands,

Thank you for your time!

If you call, and you hear a strange voice, that’s my new AI receptionist!

Please be patient this is in beta!

We will likely have issues but the receptionist will be able to take calls, schedule appointments into the booksy app, as well as cancel or reschedule.

This service is directly through the booksy app, that’s not going away, so I highly recommend still getting the app (the website doesn’t allow cancel or rescheduling) but the app does!
