After 12 years of living with a not so nice tiny shower and a vanity without drawers, we are finally completely renovating our main bathroom in our 156 year old home!! My husband is so talented and can do all of the work, thankfully 😍. We are doubling the size, by utilizing a large walk-in hall closet. It is slow work dealing with the lath and plaster. It looks like the closet was a sleeping porch at one time, as it has exterior siding under some paneling in that portion. I will show our progress along the way! The last pictures show my cosmetic facelift a few years ago to get us by. 🛁🚽🔨

Working today on a quick color study of my next painting. My sweet Hazel that passed away this past April. I like where it is going. Now on to the final painting!

Starting to harvest my winter squash already. Butternut and honeynut squash. More still ripening on the vine.

Great yearly exhibit opening with my art guild: Gate City Arts Guild Gateway Regional Arts Center tonight. We have such a creative community full of talent. You can see my art along with many talented artist’s works through September 22nd.
