T-Time Nails

2025 has been a year, I am so grateful and thankful for all of you who have shared laughter, tears, smiles, trials, triumphs, hugs, and even allowed me to be there with you in the tough times. I can truly say I love what I do and if it wasn’t for all of you I wouldn’t. Thank you!!!!

Them: What do you do for a living?

Me: I am a nail tech & permanent jewelry artist at Finishing Touch Day Spa

Them: So you do nails and stuff?

Me: 😳 Well....deep breaths, kinda..... I am a nail tech & permanent jewelry artist; but more importantly I GET TO BE THE ONE for my clients and friends..

Them: What does that even mean?

Me: Inserts 😏... I get TO BE THE ONE who holds their hand when they tell me they are having a baby. I get TO BE THE ONE who holds their hand and shrieks with excitement when that guy finally proposes to her (to the other sirs..if you are reading this, get to it because it is long overdue! I said what I said) I get TO BE THE ONE who gets to prepare the bride who is walking down the aisle to the man or woman of her dreams. I get TO BE THE ONE who celebrates a new home, a new job, and even a new beginning. I get TO BE THE ONE to receive artwork from her little girl and hear all the preschool tea because she has to come see me when Momma does.

I GET TO BE THE ONE to look someone in the eye and tell them that they are worth more than that crusty old ex, and that they can and will do so much better. I GET TO BE THE ONE to hold their hands when they lose someone they love and they just need an ear while they cry and vent. I GET TO BE THE ONE that listens and cries sometimes too (even if i say it is just dust lol) I GET TO BE THE ONE who hugs them a little tighter when their kids are being buttheads and they are at their wits end (let's be real here it happens)

I GET TO BE THE ONE to laugh with them until we cry and can't breathe, and get called out on my facial expressions on the daily. I get to work in a place I love with people I love, seriously how many people can say that?!

Me: Soooooo....yea I guess you could say "I do nails and ALL THAT STUFF"😉
