And no, it’s not just for carpet!!

I use mine anywhere fabrics and soft surfaces tend to hold onto smells — rugs, entryways, pet areas, couches, mattresses, sinks to clean, even the car.

Sprinkle, let it sit for a bit, then vacuum it up!

Super simple, but especially nice if you have pets, kids, or just a house that actually gets lived in.

How market weekend started vs. how it ended..
Friday: fully stocked in Springfield.
Saturday: picked-over shelves, sold-out products, and my BEST event yet at Mellow + Ivy.

I didn’t even get a “before” picture Saturday because people started shopping almost immediately.
Cleaners nearly gone.
Magnesium cleared out.
Body butter almost sold out.
Diffusers flying.
Foaming hand soaps became an unexpected hit.
Skin of a Killer officially has a fan club.
Odor elimination dust? GONE. Definitely have to stock them up.

And apparently y’all are VERY ready for fall scents.
One of my favorite moments was having someone literally follow a fragrance over to my booth because she had to know what smelled so good — and then immediately buy the body spray.

I also sold something from almost every product category I brought, which honestly made me so happy.
Thank you to everyone who stopped, smelled everything, shopped, grabbed samples, took a card, or told a friend.
Best event yet. Springfield was slower due to location & the heat but it just shows me the difference in catering to MY crowd vs the general public. Y'all did not disappoint me Mt Juliet!

Now I have a LOT of restocking to do.

How market weekend started vs. how it ended…

I think I’m still processing last night because Mellow + Ivy was officially my BEST event yet for Boros Custom Creations

It got busy so fast that I didn’t even get a picture of my booth before everyone started shopping, and it stayed busy almost the entire night. So here's how Springfield started Friday night to picked over shelves & sold out products at Mellow + Ivy Saturday in Mt. Juliet.

I sold out of almost all of my cleaners, nearly sold out of body butter, had to restock magnesium because y’all CLEARED me out, and even after restocking my diffusers from Springfield, about half of them went home with someone else. Apparently y'all love odor elimination dust too & I definitely need to bring more of it because y'all wiped me out at both events!

And the FOAMING HAND SOAPS. These were brand new for this weekend with new bottles and new labels, and once I moved them up where everyone could see them better, they started flying off the shelf. Definitely need a taller shelf.

And apparently Skin of a Killer has a fan club now, because some of y’all were grabbing every Skin of a Killer product you could find. 🤍

One of my favorite moments was watching everyone test and smell everything. I had one person smell a fragrance from somewhere nearby, literally follow the scent over to my booth to figure out what it was, and immediately buy the body spray. That made my entire night. 🥰

I also heard so many compliments about how good everything smelled, how much everyone loved the names, and how spot-on the dupe fragrances were, which seriously meant so much to me!!

The wax melts were getting ALL the love too, especially the new fall scents, and I’m very happy to report that they survived the Tennessee heat BOTH nights perfectly.

My free samples with purchase were also a huge hit — y’all wiped me out of my laundry booster samples and body spray samples!

But one of the coolest parts of the whole night was realizing that something from almost every single product category sold. Cleaners, laundry, body care, magnesium, diffusers, wax, soaps, sprays… everything got some love. As a maker, that is SUCH a good feeling because every event is different and sometimes you really don’t know what people are going to connect with.

Springfield the night before was definitely slower with the heat and my location, and people weren’t quite ready for all the fall scents yet.
Mellow + Ivy said, nah, we are DONE with summer. Give us the fall smells immediately. 🍂🍁🎃

This was also Mellow + Ivy’s first time having vendors for their Sip + Shop, and it was so much fun getting to support another small business, meet other vendors, trade some goodies, see friends, and meet so many new people. I definitely want more intimate events like this.

And then I found out I was literally across the street from one of the neighborhoods I grew up in & got to see my childhood home again which made the whole night feel even more special! 🥹

Thank you to every person who stopped, smelled something, tested something, grabbed a card, bought from me, told a friend, or just came over because you were getting off work or grabbing pizza and thought, “Ooh, what’s going on over there?” 🍕

You made this my best event yet.
And now I apparently have a LOT of restocking to do before the rest of fall market season.

I cannot wait.
I am tired. Now to enjoy a long weekend cuddling my pet sitting pups.
