First mandrake done! And it is a doozy. š¬ from tip to tip, it is 27 inches, took 10 hours to make and $30 in materials. There is some hand detailing, to give it that lumpy look, that arenāt coming through well on camera. Unless specifically requested, I wonāt make another one this big or detailed. I have another one started to see if I can work the price down. This one is up for grabs for $75. (Yes, that is me making roughly $4.50 an hour.)
Let me know what you think, and what you want to see next!

This big, custom koala is done, and the mandrake pattern has been purchased! I will get one of those started, in between obsessively making homemade marshmallows, again. š

Guys, life be lifing way too much for me lately.
2 weeks ago, one of my kids was life flighted to Kansas City childrenās, in sudden and acute liver failure and needing an emergency liver transplant. Thank the ever loving lord she started to get better slowly, and did not end up needing the transplant. I just got back home, and trying to get back into life again. I have 2 orders I am back to working on now, but would love to know what you guys would like to see (if life calms down a bit. š®āšØ) Here are some things that speak to me, but let me know what you are vibing with.
Should I do the next depot on the green or downtown block party vendor shows?
I will try and get the ācurrently availableā album updated today as well.

š Sheās so beautiful! This pumpkin doll/witch is up for grabs for $50. She is 29/30 inches from toes to hat tip when āstandingā. She has 1 pound of weighted plushie pellets, so she sits very nicely, and if a kids just wants her ad a doll, she has a great amount of weight to her. What do you think of her? What do you want to see next?

Tomorrow there will be a new crochet item, I promise! Iām still doing physical therapy and getting my arm strength and mobility back. Bread making, which I already love, is a great way for me to work in that. And I get a tasty snack at the and of my āwork outā. š
I hope you enjoy a picture of tonightās honey wheat loaves while you wait on more crochet goodies. I might even show off tomorrowās bread too. š
(These arenāt sourdough. I know itās murderous to say, but Iām not a huge fan. I love a good artisan or country loaf. Marshmallows/chocolate, or bacon/cheddar/jalapeƱo are my favorites. Trying a loaded pizza loaf this week for grilled cheese!)

This has nothing to to do with crochet, just a shameless plug for our classroom, as we get ready to go back to school. I made a little classroom list if anyone wants to bless our little class. It is for our middle school special education/resource room at Hilldale. We teach a life skills class which the kids LOVE! We do cooking, sewing, work with tools, do an entire week of trying new food, fill out job application and do job interviews, work on regulation and how to interact with others, lots of hygiene and self care, traffic rules (for drivers and pedestrians), laundry, taking care of babies and everything in between! Last year all of the supplies were paid for by me (a para/teaching assistant) and the teacher. We want this class to be mostly hands on, so it is a lot. Ha. And the class beanbags got ruined with heavy leaking from the spring tornado.
Thank you for any love sent to our students. I canāt wait to hear all about their summer in just 2 weeks!
