Why choose raw honey over store-bought?

Most honey on shelves is filtered and heated, losing the natural enzymes and pollen that make it special. Ours comes straight from the hive, rich with flavor and the good stuff your body loves.

Curious about what makes our honey different? Stop by for a taste or message us to learn more. 🍯

Swarm season is just about here.

If you see a ball of honeybees hanging on a tree limb, fence post, or bush, please don’t spray them or try to kill them. In most cases they’re just resting while they look for a new home.

If you’re in the Myrtle Beach area and find a swarm, call or text me at 843-957-0124. I’ll come get them, give them a safe hive, provide the feed they need to get settled, and help keep them from ending up in someone’s wall or attic.

If you can, send a photo and your location. And please keep kids and pets back until I arrive.

Have you spotted any swarms yet this year?

I am looking for organizations: scouts, gardening clubs, pest control companies etc that would be interested in learning about honeybees. I have a goal to educate 5 groups before the honey comes off the hives in June of 2026.......Can you help me reach that goal?

Three years. That's how long we've been managing our hives without a single chemical treatment.

It all comes down to Integrated Pest Management (IPM)—a natural, thoughtful approach to keeping our bees healthy. Instead of reaching for treatments, we focus on what matters: strong genetics, good nutrition, regular monitoring, and letting our bees do what they do best.

IPM means we catch problems early, keep our hives clean and well-ventilated, and support our colonies' natural defenses. Our bees stay strong. Our honey stays pure. And our commitment to bee welfare stays unshakeable.

That's the Bella Vita difference. Pure honey from bees raised the way nature intended.

Raw honey isn't just honey. It's different.

Most store-bought honey is heated and filtered, stripping out the good stuff. Our raw, unfiltered honey comes straight from the hive with natural enzymes, pollen, and nutrients intact.

Nothing added. Nothing removed. Just pure South Carolina honey the way the bees made it.

That's the difference you can taste.
