Where I am from up in the country we have always celebrated the 8th of August as of 4th oh July…

While June 19th was the day it didn’t get to the blacks folks in upper East TN until August 8th.

My Father went to celebrate it this weekend at 74 years young. I’m sharing this because I am at awe at how great he looks … 🤎♥️

He has had some health issues (diabetes so bad his doctors wonders how he is here) so to see this makes me very proud
