The weather has made a shift here in Nashville. Summer has arrived.
It’s hot, humid and every part of my day now needs to adjust.
MY TOP 3 SUMMER SKINCARE TIPS…
1. Double Cleansing
It’s worth it year round but the extra sweat, dry dirt in the air and extra makeup and/or SPF needed during the summer months needs some extra cleansing. One cleanse to get it all mostly off the skin and the second round to get those pores!!!
2. Hydrating Soap
Stick with an all natural soap bar that doesn’t strip skin to help skin maintain hydration after losing moisture from being out in the sun and/or in air conditioning.
3. Moisture, Moisture, Moisture!!!
Skin can always use extra moisture especially if you are applying sunscreens, going into pools, showering more often and other Summer specific activities. But…be sure that you are using the right one so it won’t clog pores with extra use.
