Milkie Design Studio

Amari is cocktail bar specializing in Absinthe and Amaro is Nashville, TN. Milkie Design Studio designed the space to feel like an European coffee shop. Everything was hand distressed by MDS to look old and as if it had always been there. MDS faux painted the walls to look like peeling plaster, Collaged the bathroom with vintage prints, rusted all the metal in the space, built farm tables using antique legs, designed all the furniture, whitewashed the wood, etc.

This space was designed to be Laurent Tourondel's new BLT American Brasserie in Midtown, Manhattan but instead opened as the new Butter from Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. These drawings were done in conjunction with Joseph Foglia Design in Brooklyn, NY.

Haakon's Hall is a restaurant located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The project was completed in 2009 and was designed by the team at Robin Barron Design.

Parrish Hall is a farm to table restaurant located in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, NY. The restaurant, which opened in March 2012, was designed and built by the team at Joseph Foglia Design.

Forager's Market was a two part project that was made up of Forager's City Grocer (a gourmet market of locally grown products) and Forager's City Table (a farm to table restaurant) that occupy the same space and utilize the same kitchen. The project began in September 2011 and opened in March 2012 and was done in conjunction with Joseph Foglia Design in Brooklyn, NY.

The Caulfield is a bar in Midtown Manhattan that was designed and built by the team at Joseph Foglia Design in Brooklyn, NY.

LT Burger Bryant Park is a bar and restaurant by famed chef Laurent Tourondel. The design of the project began in August 2011 and the restaurant opened in September 2012.
