Hi Friends!

Well, I didn't think it was actually going to happen this fast but it is. We are moving in July! I have really enjoyed working with all of you and appreciate your support and all the good times.

I wish I had recommendations for stylists but 2 of the 3 that I know of on base are moving and the other, Melissa, isn't working yet that I know of. I do recommend using Instagram to search hashtags that apply to your hair and this location. ETC. The more specific you are, the smaller the return of hits but they should be more applicable.

I will be working a couple more days before my pack out in a couple weeks so if you are interested please shoot me a text message at 6192410869. I'm thinking the 7/6&7.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am keeping up on the recent developments and am hopeful that I will be able to start taking appointments again in June. I'm closing my books for the moment and will open them in stages so the booking process goes as smoothly as possible. I am as anxious as you are to get back to this part of normal life and I promise as soon as I get the go ahead, I will get back to work. I cannot wait to see you all. Please stand by for updates!

Dear Friends,

After careful thought and consideration, I will be closed starting tomorrow March 16th through the end of March. I will reevaluate at that point to see what’s best moving forward. I care for you all and it’s my belief that I (we) should take the better safe than sorry stance. This is in line with what is recommended in our military community, many hair salons and businesses and world wide.

During this time I will be catching up on education online and practicing some new techniques on mannequin heads. I will be coming back to work after this break inspired!

Throwback to a couple weeks ago. Working towards a rooty platinum blond. This picture was taken at night so it shows a little more warmth from the lack of natural light but is pretty close to accurate. I have really been enjoying doing more hair these days and am grateful to all my clients for giving me the opportunity!

If your hair is feeling brittle and dry but conditioner isn't helping, you may have a build up of minerals from your water. I find that shampooing with Malibu Hard Water Wellness helps immensely. They also have a treatment that comes in a packet for more intense detoxing. Using one of these options when you notice dry symptoms coming on, will keep your conditioner working properly and your hair feeling good! If that doesn't help, might be time for a trim!
