Amaka Aesthetics Skin Science
Skincare formulated by plastic surgeon, Amaka Nwubah, MD. Gentle, yet effective products.
✨ Medical-grade skincare is one of the best investments you can make in your skin.
This is my morning routine—the regimen I’ve followed pretty consistently for the last 3 years. My nighttime routine is actually a bit simpler, but mornings are when I focus on prepping and protecting my skin for the day ahead. That means a little more layering, a little more intention, and a lot of consistency.
The reality is that healthy, glowing skin is rarely the result of one treatment or one product. It’s the result of small decisions made day after day, year after year.
Good skincare can help improve skin tone, texture, hydration, brightness, and overall skin health.
The best skincare routine is the one you’ll actually stick to—and consistency will always outperform perfection.
Three years later, I’m still using these products daily, and I truly believe that commitment is where the magic happens.

A simple routine done consistently will always outperform an overly complicated one. ✨
Here’s a look at a complete morning regimen using some of our favorite essentials from Amaka Skin
Step 1: Hydrating Cleanser
Step 2: Peach Scrub
Step 3: Facetone
Step 4: Growth Factor Peptide Complex
Step 5: Radiant Serum
Step 6: Power Defense SPF 45
The goal isn’t just “good skin” for a week. It’s building healthy, supported skin over time through consistency, protection, and intentional products. 🤍
Putting It All Together 🌙

Not all skincare steps carry the same weight—especially when we start talking about aging skin.
A good routine still matters.
Cleanser. Moisturizer. Consistency.
Those are your foundation.
But when the goal shifts to maintaining collagen, improving texture, and supporting long-term skin health… a few ingredients become especially important:
• Retinol – supports cell turnover and collagen production
• SPF – protects against the very thing that accelerates aging the most
• Growth factors – help support skin repair and regeneration at a cellular level
These aren’t trends.
They’re backed by how skin actually functions over time.
The goal isn’t more products.
It’s the right ones—used consistently, and with intention.
Skincare order matters more than most people think.
Not because there’s one “perfect” routine—
but because how you layer your products affects how well they actually work.
Start with clean skin.
Then move from lightest to thickest consistency.
Think:
• Cleanser
• Toner
• Growth factors / serums
• Vitamin C
• Hydration (like hyaluronic acid)
• Moisturizer
• Sunscreen (always last in the morning)
At night, this is where your corrective products come in—like retinol—applied after cleansing and before moisturizer.
The goal isn’t more products.
It’s using the right ones, in the right order, consistently.
Because good skincare isn’t just about what you use…
it’s about how you use it.
Vitamin C is one of the most talked-about skincare products—but where does it actually fit in your routine?
In this video, I walk you through exactly where I use it and how I layer the rest of my morning skincare.
My routine after cleansing:
• Pore-refining toner
• Growth factor
• Vitamin C
• Hydrabalance
• Sunscreen
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps brighten the skin, support collagen, and help defend against daily environmental stressors—which is why I love it in the morning.
Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated. The key is using the right products in the right order.
Healthy skin, with intention. ✨
Barrier, turnover, and oil control—this is the foundation.
• Clarifying Cleanser: remove excess oil + debris
• Glycolic Cleanser: support controlled exfoliation
• Pore Refining Toner: rebalance + refine texture
Simple. Intentional. Effective.

Sunscreen isn’t optional. It’s maintenance.
Whether you’re treating hyperpigmentation, protecting your investment after procedures, or simply preserving your skin long-term—this is where it starts.
At Amaka Aesthetics Skin Science, we formulated sunscreens that do more than protect:
• Tinted SPF 40 – helps even tone + protects against visible light (key for PIH)
• Power Defense SPF 45 – lightweight, oil-free, daily wear with added skin support
• Mineral Defense SPF 40 – gentle, barrier-supportive protection for sensitive skin
No matter your skin type or goals—there’s a formula that fits.
Protect your skin. Preserve your results.

Advanced Retinol + Bakuchiol ✨
A cornerstone in any results-driven skincare regimen.
Available in three strengths—0.25, 0.5, and 1.0—allowing us to meet your skin where it is and build over time.
Why it matters:
• Supports collagen production
• Improves skin texture and tone
• Helps soften fine lines over time
Not all retinol is one-size-fits-all. Strength, timing, and consistency matter.
At Amaka Aesthetics, our team will help guide you toward the right starting point—and build a regimen tailored to your skin.
Because healthy skin isn’t guesswork. It’s intentional.
One of our favorite ingredients in skincare? Glycolic acid.
This alpha hydroxy acid works by gently exfoliating the outer layer of the skin, helping to remove dull surface cells and reveal smoother, brighter skin underneath.
Over time, glycolic acid can help improve skin texture, tone, and overall radiance.
It’s one of the reasons we love our Resurface Glycolic Acid as part of a thoughtful, science-based skincare routine.
Simple. Effective. Proven.
