some after sun skincare tips: from your esthetician bestie who cares about you—

BOOK A FACIAL when you’re back from your vacation book it for the following week 🥰

first off, enjoy the sun with safety duhh— apply your sunscreen 30 mins before sun exposure & before water activities then dry off completely after you are done with the water & REAPPLY sunscreen again & wait 20 mins before going back into the water

the night of after a full day of sun- use a gentle creamy cleanser to wash your face (still double cleanse but with the same cleanser) skip your cleanser that has an active ingredient in it, lay off your actives and exfoliation a day before sun activities & a few days after depending how many days you’re out in the sun skip a little longer

SHEET MASKS— but not just any random ones! stay away from the ones that has any actives in it, or collagen ones or firming ones, you need the nourishing hydrating calming ones after a day of sun! grab some at your next appointment ☺️ before your vacation in the sun!

BETA GLUCAN— this will calm that inflammation & burn from the sun, also will hydrate your skin up! you’ll need it bc the sun dries you out!

ALOE VERA— lather yourself in this after a cool shower you don’t need a HOT shower after a HOT SUNNY day do this then lather yourself in beta glucan serum too!

MOISTURIZERS— comfort cream from glymed is elite in this situation but also a great everyday light weight acne safe moisturizer (literally can’t keep stock of this) soba cream is also great it feels soothing & cooling and is way more light weight feel then comfort cream me personally I use apply soba cream first then comfort cream then my sunscreen 😉 all available and sold at aestheticstudios!

SUNSCREEN — let’s not forget this !!! apply it, reapply it and repeat!

you would book my “signature deluxe facial” this service is allotted for an hour and 20 mins, with this you will get a consultation & the facial, all skin is unique so each treatment will be custom! this is where you would start!

other skin services you see on the menu are more advanced corrective treatments, if it’s your first visit with aestheticstudios I wouldn’t worry about them until later
