Confession Friday: 12 Steps Edition lol
Good morning! My name is Shakita and I am addicted to Carmex. I have been clean for the past 5 years and I am thankful to say that I went the entire time with no relapse. I wanted to share my testimony on how I made it through lol.
The initial transition was rough. I used to have carmex all over the house and in random places, so when I would find one, the temptation was real. So I ventured into finding another solution, a more natural option. I tried Burt’s Bees, the little circle ball thing (I forgot the name) and some others but they didn’t cut it. About three years ago, I create my own lip balm. Though I love how it works (still use it today) I have still struggled with my lips peeling. That’s when I started using lip scrubs.
Mary Kay was my first intro to the scrubs but after having a major allergic reaction to their facial products I discontinued using it. I started using my body scrubs on my lips and it works wonders.
Well the other day, my sister hit me up and said she was sending me some lip scrub and conditioner to try out. I instantly got excited right! Yesterday was my first time using it and baby when I tell you this scrub and conditioner is the truth!!!!!!!!!! Even a full 24 hrs later, I can still feel the effects! And not to mention, I didn’t have any peeling skin when I woke up!!!
To all of my friends struggling with their addiction to carmex, I highly recommend this product. Trust when I say your lips will love it!!!
