So I will be at the Hammond Market this weekend. With the proviso that, if I get dizzy driving on the way in, I'll have to cancel. I think I'm ok but I haven't driven that far yet.

I'll be bringing shower steamers and two more bath salts with me.

Ok, so it's more than an ear infection. The dizziness wasn't going away when any other time I've had an ear infection, it goes away in a couple days once treatment is started.

It's BPPV (also called positional vertigo). Apparently, they put your head in a weird position when doing the gallbladder surgery. It knocks the calcium crystals in your ear canal out of alignment. These crystals help you determine the direction of gravity and kind of "swim" in a jelly that's inside the ear canal. With them out of place, it makes you dizzy. There are exercises that can be done to put them back into place though it does sometimes require surgery.

So I've been told absolutely no driving until any amount of dizziness goes away. Unfortunately, my husband has been unable to drive with me to market due to his crazy schedule lately with the company he works for.

It's not that bad though I had some instances last week where my head was swimming and the world was spinning for what felt like a good full minute.

I'm so incredibly frustrated. This whole gallbladder removal thing was supposed to be a fairly simple procedure. In, out, home and back in a few weeks. Instead it's turned into an odyssey that's put my life on hold.

I'm so very sorry.

I do still have items for sale and I've been trying to work to add some things. Shower steamers are coming back due to many requests. Bath salts. And I've been working on a shave soap recipe for those who prefer wet shaving. Well when my head hasn't decided it's time for a spin.

I have soap, bath bombs, bubble bath, sugar scrub, body butter, lip balm and the remainder of my wax melts available. If you want to see any of them, just watch any of the videos on my page. Since I do lives every market you should see them there. Normally, I'd be happy to deliver for free anywhere between Slidell and Hammond LA but right now that isn't an option. If you're in Slidell, I'll see what I can do about delivery.

By request, I've been looking into creating a shave soap. Do you prefer clay in your shave soap or no clay? Clay is supposed to help with slip but some say that it dulls the blade faster.
