I’m a skincare professional. I believe in retinoids. I believe in sunscreen. I believe in treating pigmentation, supporting collagen, improving skin health and using ingredients that actually have evidence behind them.
But I don’t want to erase every indication that I’ve lived.

In my 9 years of running an esthetics business, my philosophy has always been clear, skincare should be about deeply nourishing your skin barrier and supporting its health, with as little inflammation as possible.
That is why I am so obsessed with the advanced, needleless technology I build directly into my signature facials. Many of my clients over 40 want to address fine lines, sagging skin, and sudden menopausal dryness, but they want to age naturally.
To achieve that, I combine two of the most powerful, non invasive modalities in the industry. Plasmaporation followed immediately by Electroporation.
Plasmaporation utilizes a specialized electromagnetic pulse to clear away dead skin cells and temporarily create microchannels in your skin cell connections. Think of it as opening an invisible door to the deeper layers of your skin.
I then follow up with electroporation. This technology uses a safe, gentle electrical field to push high molecular weight clinical serums, like growth factors, peptides, and deep barrier builders, directly through those open channels. It allows active ingredients to bypass the surface and drop straight into the dermis where real cellular change happens. Zero needles. Zero downtime. Zero discomfort.
When done in a consistent series, we are constantly telling your cells to produce more collagen and elastin. Over time, this cumulative effect structurally firms the skin, smooths out crepey texture, and deeply resets your hydration levels from the inside out.
This technology is included in my more advanced facial treatments.

Sometimes the most anti aging thing you can do is stop irritating your skin and start supporting its barrier.
Peptides aren’t one magical ingredient. Different peptides can have completely different biological functions, some act as signals, some can bind or carry minerals, some influence enzymes, and others can affect pathways involved in muscle contraction.
Peptides in skincare do not all preform the same. This is probably one of the biggest things I wish more people understood when shopping for skincare.
You see “peptide serum” and assume every peptide does the same thing. They don’t.
Different peptide sequences can have different functions and that’s why I pay attention to the actual peptide in the ingredient list, not just the word “peptide” on the packaging.
Two of my favorites to talk about:
Matrixyl
signal peptides associated with supporting the skin’s extracellular matrix and targeting the appearance of fine lines and loss of firmness.
Argireline
acetyl hexapeptide-8, a peptide commonly formulated for expression related lines.
And no, Argireline is not Botox in a bottle. Even though it is marketed as such. It’s a topical cosmetic peptide working through a completely different mechanism.
So when someone asks me, “What peptide should I use?” What are we trying to address?
Fine lines?
Loss of firmness?
Expression lines?
Overall skin support?
I use three different peptide serums in my routine everyday to target all of the above. I use a matrixyl serum all over my face, neck, and chest. I use an argireline serum as a spot treatment for my forehead, 11’s, upper lip, and crows feet. I use copper peptides all over my face, neck, and chest.
Azelaic acid is an acid by chemical classification, but it is NOT an exfoliating acid like glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid.
And that’s a VERY important difference. Azelaic acid can be useful for:
redness + certain rosacea symptoms
acne + clogged follicles
post-acne marks
uneven pigmentation + skin tone
And it does all of this through multiple biological pathways, not simply by “stripping off dead skin.”
Not every sensitive or rosacea prone person will tolerate it immediately. Start low and slow and pay attention to your skin.

I know I said I don’t focus on massage… that doesn’t mean your facial is completely void of any type of massage.
From the moment we start the facial with cleansing, then to gua sha, face, neck, and shoulder massage, to the mask… just don’t expect me to touch your feet 🤣😂

Don’t jump scare me like that. Pls go home.
I really dislike the elitist esthetician mentality that your skin can’t improve with a consistent budget friendly skincare routine, my skin is proof.
Both can be beneficial.
