Carly Guerra, Founder and CEO of Savoir, on nearly 20 years as a member of CEW.
She joined as soon as her career started and has recommended it to everyone since, telling her team and anyone entering the industry that joining CEW should be their very first move. The networking has helped her build relationships with people at larger organizations, and as an entrepreneur, it’s given her exposure to parts of the business she might not have otherwise encountered.
Come check out NEOM Wellbeing’s office with us, it’s built the way their products smell: intentional, calming, and completely on-brand. This CEW Onsite stop proves that a company’s culture shows up in its walls just as much as its shelves.
Danessa Myricks on the advice she’d give her younger self starting out in the industry.
Take your time, and stay focused on why you’re there. When she started, she had clear intention, excitement, and energy — she knew exactly what she wanted to do and why. But the industry itself can muddy things up along the way. Through it all, stay true to who you are, what you believe in, and the ideas that make you different. People will want those ideas, and you’ll change the world with what you create.

That mix creates a healthy tension, and that tension is exactly what drives great decisions.

Keta Burke-Williams, founder of Ourside, shares her top advice for anyone starting a company 💡
Her three rules: stay true to your vision, do the research, and never be afraid to ask a question, even the ones that feel “stupid.” You never know how helpful the answer might be.
Barbara Herman, founder of fragrance brand Eris, is largely a one-woman show 🌿
Building a brand solo means wearing many hats, all at once. While local networking hasn't been a focus, she's built something powerful in its place: a devoted community of Eris fans online. Hearing that someone wanted to tell her story was a moment of validation for all the work happening behind the scenes.
