It was an honor to be personally invited by Mayor Eric Adams to celebrate Polish Heritage Night at Gracie Mansion, the official residence of the Mayor of New York City.
The evening highlighted the incredible contributions of the Polish community to New York’s cultural and social life.
Warm congratulations to two remarkable honorees:
🏅 Dr. Iwona Korga – President of the Józef Piłsudski Institute in New York, Board Member of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, and Grand Marshal of the 2026 Pulaski Parade.
🏅 Zygmunt Bielski – Member of the Pulaski Parade Main Committee, the Polish Army Veterans Association, and the Polish Scouting Association of the USA.
It was also such a joy to reconnect with my dear friend Aleksandra Slabisz, whom I met 12 years ago — life has a beautiful way of bringing people back together at the right time.
The night was filled with meaningful conversations, inspiring energy, and a taste of home — authentic Polish dishes from in Brooklyn! 🇵🇱🥟
