Next stop for this beauty is dissolving some poorly placed filler, replacing filler where needed, and targeting some pesky skin discoloration and texture irregularities with lasers. Stay tuned!

Lip filler isn’t necessarily always for BIGGER lips. In this case, our patient was bothered by the wrinkly, dry appearance of her lips. I would describe this type of lip anatomy as “loose tissue” and my go-to filler for this type of lip is Volbella. Volbella is very smooth, flexible, and attracts very little water. It’s prefect to simply fill space in loose tissue to created a more hydrated appearance.
If she wanted larger lips, I would first fill with volbella, then inject the lips with a more robust, cohesive filler 2-4 weeks later.
