The makeover segment I did for Cynthia&Paula with and on aired on 12/2. I have no idea how to post the segment but it was really good and a very happy experience! The best part was meeting these two deserving women who were so warm and grateful for the work we did; the second best part was that I didn’t do anything weird on tv, and the third best was that the camera added nearly 10lbs to the sleeves of my favorite princess shirt 🤍 @ Good Morning America Studios
70s Babe Soft Fluffy Waves with Hot Rollers HOW TO is here!
1-Part your hair as desired, my favorite 70s bombshells always have a center part. (If you part on the side this will have more of an old Hollywood vibe)
2-Use the smaller rollers at the top, rolling the hair away from your face like Farrah. This will give you the most curl since it will fall a bit after brushing out. NOTE: make sure your sections aren’t too big and that the ends are tucked in smoothly to avoid kinks!
4-Repeat until the whole head is in rollers before letting it cool completely.
5-Remove all the rollers and brush through (ideally with a Mason Pearson) just enough times to make it fluffy and big, hairspray for hold if necessary.
I used hot rollers for this look, and one row of hand tied weft for the biggest, fluffiest hair of my dreams. This is one of my favorite looks, if you have questions leave them in the comments 💌
Mermaid waves how to is here🧜🏽♀️ This hair was inspired by my first girl crush, Daryl Hannah, from Splash.
1-Take a section in the front about as wide as the rod of your iron. The fewer sections you take, the more uniform and the better results. The depth of the section will vary depending on the thickness of your hair. It needs to be deep enough that you don’t get a harsh kink, but shallow enough that you get that good curve. (My hair is fine and I take about 1.5 inch deep sections)
2-Starting as high up as you want, eye level for me, use the upside down part of the curling iron to create crimps in your hair, closing the iron just enough to create a shape. A Marcel style iron is best for this technique rather than a spring clamp iron, to prevent harsh kinks!
3-Work your way downward like in the video, paying attention to keeping your section wide and flat for the most even waves.
4-I love to have a little ridge, so you’ll see I tug gently at the ends of my hair while it’s in the iron to give it just the tiniest bit of a line on each wave.
5-Do as much of your head as you like. I only did the top section all around because I am lazy.
These pretty waves are basically what you wish your hair would look like when you take braids out, but not all janky and weird. More importantly, these waves are exactly like Daryl Hannah’s from Splash. 🧜🏻♀️

I used to spend an hour or more a day on my hair. Starting when I was a teenager, I would wake up every morning and wash it before blow drying and flat ironing it. I flat ironed the same sections 4-5 times because I thought this was necessary for my hair to look good. I did it every day and my hair eventually became damaged to the point it would break off almost as quickly as it grew in. I thought I had bad hair but really I just didn’t know what to do with it. At some point I stopped the overly complicated routine and became dedicated to figuring out all the secrets to the best hair with the least amount of time & effort. It is something I strongly believe in because who the hell has time to waste? Your beauty routine should be a quick part of your morning that makes you feel good for the rest of the day, so you have one less thing to worry about. Occasionally when I’m in the mood to spend a lot of time styling my hair up fancy I can actually enjoy it because it’s a rare treat and not a daily chore. My favorite part of my job is helping people figure out the best routine for them, whatever their hair type, lifestyle, or budget. I’ve devoted most of my career to developing these secrets because I work in a very vain industry and this gives me a sense of importance and depth 👼🏼. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all that I spend less time on my hair, but get more compliments and worry about it less than ever and so can YOU.
