That’s exactly why the 2-week Botox follow-up can be so important—especially with complex anatomy.

Heavy eyelids, low-set brows, strong forehead muscles, facial asymmetry, or uneven muscle activity may require a more conservative approach at the first appointment.

I would rather start with fewer units, allow the Botox to fully settle, and then fine-tune the result at 2 weeks if needed.

The goal isn’t just a frozen forehead. It’s balance, symmetry, and a natural result without creating unnecessary brow or eyelid heaviness.

Some patients need a touch-up. Some don’t. But when you have complex anatomy, that 2-week assessment can make all the difference.
