To everyone who has ever loved me, prayed for me, or cheered me on from afar:
For a very long time, my milestones looked a little different than most. When my books were published, I was celebrating from a hospital bed or on strict bed rest. When I earned my two college degrees, yes, your girl has two! I never got the chance to walk across the stage. One of those very degrees was earned right from a hospital room. For the past ten years, even my birthdays were spent fighting for my health instead of blowing out candles surrounded by the people I love.
Through every single trial, God kept me. And today, I am standing here alive, healthy, and filled with a level of gratitude that words can barely hold.
That is why June 6th 2026 is so much more than just a date on a calendar to me. It is a milestone I wasn’t sure I’d see. For the first time in a very long time, I get to celebrate my accomplishments with a healthy body and a healthy, peaceful mind. I finally get to have the book signing I always dreamed of, showcase the things I’ve built, and look at the faces of the people who held me up when things were at their heaviest.
If you love me, if you have ever celebrated a win with me, or if you are one of the beautiful souls who prayed for a healthy moment for me, it would be my absolute honor to host you.
Please come out and celebrate this beautiful thing called life with me. Your presence would mean the world, because you are a part of the story that got me here.
