Come to think of it, I don’t think I ever formally introduced myself so here goes..

My name is Lecee. I am a 34 year old Brooklyn native (Brooklyn stand up 📣!). I recently moved to New Jersey but my heart will always remain in Brooklyn. I enjoy traveling, spending time with loved ones & exploring new experiences.

I am an accountant & have been in the finance industry for almost 20 years now (I got my start at 16 as an intern in retail banking). I graduated from Brooklyn College in 2011 with my B.S. in Business, Managment and Finance. I started pursing a 2nd degree in Accounting with the intention of becoming a CPA but I found myself miserable with the day to day of corporate America. Being a black woman in corporate America is not easy (my experience) & I reached a point in life where I was tired of seeking acceptance and acknowledgement by a world that barely notices me. I became miserable in my day to day, depressed and knew, at that point, that I did not want to spend whatever time I have left on this earth being miserable. And so I started the process of finding my passion.

I have always been a big consumer in the beauty industry. You can’t tell me s**t when I have my nails done, hair done, everything did! I wanted to be a part of an industry that makes everyone look and feel their best! I love the creativity and freedom of expression that comes with nails and I decided to pursue a career in nails in 2020. I signed up for nail school and graduated from Christine Valmy in July 2020. I am approaching 2 years as a nail tech. Doing nails has brought me a sense of fulfillment and purpose in life. I am honored to be given the opportunity to make everyone feel and look amazing. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different walks of life, mentoring and the therapy that comes with servicing clients. Like I tell my clients, it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. If there is something you are passionate about or have a natural talent, pursue it!!

I am excited about the new chapter I am starting in my new home state of NJ. I look forward to meeting & servicing you all at my new location!! More details to come.

🚨Announcement 🚨

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of my Brooklyn location. I try to be as transparent and open with my clients. My regulars know of my move to New Jersey a couple of months ago. It has been a process juggling 2 locations. The constant commute between states is becoming taxing on my mental & physical, therefore I am making the decision to focus on growing my business in New Jersey where I currently reside.

A special thanks to my Brooklyn clientele as this is where it all started. To my loyal clients who have been with me since day 1, I hope that I can still see you guys in NJ. Thank you so much for your continued support, love & patience. I truly feel a bond/sisterhood with all of my regulars which I hope to maintain. My last day servicing Brooklyn, NY is 5/28. Appointments are still available for May. Please DM if you don’t see your desired day/time available.

Starting June 1,2022 I will only be servicing NJ. My new studio is located in Carteret, NJ which is about 40 minutes from my Brooklyn location. I hope to see you all at my new location. Please do not hesitate to DM with any questions.
