🇬🇭 Ghana’s President: “Eating After 7 PM Is Killing You Slowly”

ACCRA – Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama has urged citizens to avoid eating heavy meals after 7:00 PM, warning that the habit is “killing you slowly” by increasing the risk of serious non-communicable diseases.

Speaking at the launch of Ghana’s Free Primary Healthcare Programme, Mahama encouraged Ghanaians to finish dinner early and avoid heavy meals such as fufu and banku late at night. He suggested that if someone feels hungry later in the evening, a light drink or snack is a healthier option than a full meal.

The President said the warning is part of a broader effort to tackle rising cases of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease across the country through healthier lifestyle choices.

His remarks have sparked widespread debate on social media, with many praising the message while others questioned whether eating after 7 PM alone is the main cause of poor health.

🍓🌕 Full Strawberry Moon Blessings 🌕🍓

The Strawberry Moon reminds us that we are in a season of ripening, abundance, and gentle transformation. Just as berries mature under the summer sun, we too are invited to honor our growth and the emotions that have brought us here. 🌿✨

This moon asks us to:
🍓 Release what no longer nourishes us
🍓 Harvest the lessons we’ve learned
🍓 Open our hearts to joy, love, and gratitude
🍓 Trust that what we’ve been cultivating is ready to bloom

Just as herbs support the body, they also nurture the spirit:
🌹 Rose for opening the heart and inviting self-love.
🌿 Lemon Balm for calming anxious thoughts and uplifting the mood.
🌼 Chamomile for soothing emotions and encouraging peace.
🌱 Tulsi (Holy Basil) for resilience, balance, and emotional clarity.

Tonight, sip your tea with intention. 🍵✨
Reflect on what you are ready to release, what you are grateful for, and what you are calling in for this next season of your life.

May this Full Strawberry Moon fill your heart with sweetness, your mind with clarity, and your spirit with peace.

🍓🌕 Happy Strawberry Moon. 🌕🍓

Peace, Prayer, and Power. ✨🌿🙏🏾

🍃Green Tip:
I just moved my potted indoor Meyer Lemon tree outside for the Summer! To keep the ants away, I took vaseline and mixed it with peppermint and citronella oil and wiped around the base of the plant pot and pot rim. This will ensure after Summer I don't bring the ants inside. Please try this with your plants outside and let me know how it works for you !
Herbally yours,
PaTea🌱🙏🏾
