Hudson Guild
Since its founding in 1895, Hudson Guild has been building a community in Chelsea and beyond!
Hudson Guild is a multi-service community center serving those who live, work or go to school in Chelsea, with a focus on those in need. Our work helps knit together a dynamic and multi-faceted community, supporting and empowering individuals as they pursue their personal, family, health, and professional goals. Our activities provide a stable “home away from home” for learning and development, and a safety net for people in economic distress. Building on our roots in the settlement house tradition, Hudson Guild takes an integrated, holistic approach to providing our services and building community. With offerings as varied as community service projects for at-risk teens, mental health counseling for low-income individuals, wellness presentations for seniors and art gallery exhibitions, the Guild works to address and engage the range of needs for its participants.

Thank you Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal for your support in bringing “cozy corners” to Hudson Guild early childhood education centers!
A cozy corner is a designated quiet space in a classroom where young children can safely unwind, manage strong emotions, and practice self-regulation.

Happy first day of after school programming at Hudson Guild’s Elliott Center!
We are excited to welcome youth participants back for another year of learning, connection, creativity, and fun. Through our Youth Development & Education program, elementary school students will have opportunities to grow through academic support, arts and literacy, sports and recreation, health and wellness, S.T.E.M. education, social-emotional development, and early career exploration.
We are proud to continue our partnership with the Department of Youth and Community Development (NYC Youth & Comm. ) and grateful for their continued support of our youth and community. Thank you, DYCD, for another year of partnership and for helping us create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, thrive, and shine!

Thank you to Speaker Speaker Julie Menin and District 3 Council Member Council Member Carl Wilson for all of your support in the FY27 City Budget! Thank you for putting forward a budget that supports teens and young adults, mental health services, older adult programming, and supportive housing resources in our community.
This budget will advance social programming in Chelsea and across the West Side of Manhattan and ensure that New Yorkers have the resources they need to succeed.
Summer fun starts here! ☀️
Yesterday, a group of interns from Related Companies joined us at Hudson Guild Children’s Center for a sweet morning of learning and creativity.
Students explored the history of ice cream and designed their own ice cream cone flavors through a hands on arts and crafts activity.
