A crispy blackened crust, creamy Cajun sauce, and fresh mango salsa on top. Save this one for later.
Ingredients:
For the halibut:
• 2 OceanBox halibut fillets
• 1–2 tbsp oil
• 1 tbsp butter
Blackening seasoning:
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp dried thyme
• ½ tsp dried oregano
• ¼–½ tsp cayenne
• Salt + pepper
Mango salsa:
• 1 ripe mango, diced
• 2 tbsp red onion, finely diced
• 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
• Juice of ½ lime
• Pinch of salt
Cajun cream sauce:
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ cup heavy cream
• ¼ cup white wine or chicken broth
• 1–2 tsp Cajun seasoning
• ½ tsp paprika
• Squeeze of lemon
Directions:
1. Mix together the mango salsa ingredients and set aside.
2. Pat the halibut dry and coat evenly with the blackening seasoning.
3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the halibut for 3–4 minutes without moving it. Flip, add butter, baste, and cook another 2–3 minutes.
4. In the same pan, melt butter and cook garlic for 30 seconds. Add the wine and cream, then stir in Cajun seasoning and paprika. Simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Spoon the sauce onto a plate, add the halibut, and top with the mango salsa.
Make this once and it’ll earn a spot on repeat.

If you’re grilling this holiday weekend, make these Mediterranean shrimp skewers 🦐 Juicy colossal shrimp tossed with olive oil, oregano, cumin, and fresh lemon, grilled until perfectly charred, and served with a creamy garlic yogurt dip. So easy, so good, and definitely one of those recipes that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
2 trays OceanBox Colossal Domestic Shrimp, peeled + deveined
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp cumin
1/3 cup olive oil
Peel from 1/2 lemon
Salt + pepper to taste
Garlic yogurt dip:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 clove garlic, finely minced
Fresh lemon juice
Pinch of salt
How to make them:
1. Add shrimp, olive oil, oregano, cumin, lemon peel, salt, and pepper to a large bowl and toss until evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes. If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water while the shrimp marinates.
2. Whisk together all yogurt dip ingredients until smooth and refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. Thread 3–4 shrimp onto each skewer and brush over any extra marinade. Grill over medium-high heat for about 2–3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are lightly charred and opaque.
Serve with the garlicky yogurt dip and extra lemon on the side 🍋

These crab cakes are made with fresh crab and baked until perfectly golden.
Ingredients:
-1 can OceanBox lump crab meat
-1 egg
-2 tbsp parsley
-1/2 cup mayo
-1 tbsp dijon + whole grain mustard
-2 tsp worcestershire
-1 tsp Old Bay
-Hot sauce (optional)
-1/2 cup breadcrumbs (+ more if needed)
-Melted butter (optional)
How to make them:
1. Mix everything except crab + breadcrumbs. Gently fold those in (don’t break the crab).
2. Chill 30 mins.
3. Scoop, brush with butter, bake at 400° for ~15 mins until golden. Serve with remoulade… or eat them straight off the tray.

Buttery, golden scallops over a bright spring salad 🌿
sweet corn, crispy chickpeas, and perfectly seared scallops layered over greens for a fresh salad with plenty of texture.
You’ll need:
• OceanBox scallops
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 cup fire roasted corn
• 1 cup peas
• 1 small can green chiles
• 1 cup crunchy chickpeas
• basil + parsley (chopped)
• green onions (sliced)
• ½ avocado (diced)
• ⅓ cup feta
how to make it:
1. pat scallops completely dry (this is key for a good sear)
2. heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot
3. add scallops in a single layer — don’t touch them
4. cook ~2–3 minutes until golden brown on one side
5. add butter, flip, and cook another 2–3 minutes
6. scallops are done when they release easily and feel slightly firm
7. in a bowl, combine corn, peas, green chiles, chickpeas, herbs, green onions, avocado, and feta
8. spread salad onto a platter and place scallops on top, serve warm or at room temp

This is the easiest way to cook cod.
Fresh garlic, lemon zest, butter, and a squeeze of lemon at the end 🍋 That’s it. The flavors highlight the cod instead of covering it up.
Ingredients:
2 OceanBox cod fillets 🐟
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp olive or avocado oil
1 garlic clove, minced
Zest of ½ lemon
Juice of ½ lemon (plus extra wedges for serving)
Kosher salt + freshly cracked black pepper
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, flaky salt, lemon slices
Instructions:
1. Prep the cod by patting fillets dry (this helps texture + presentation). Season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Make lemon butter by whisking together: Melted butter, Oil, Garlic, Lemon zest + juice (Save about a tablespoon for finishing if you want that glossy look.)
3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place cod on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spoon lemon butter evenly over fillets.
4. Roast 10–12 minutes, depending on thickness.
👉 Fish should flake easily but still look moist.
5. Spoon remaining lemon butter on top. Add parsley & a squeeze of lemon and serve ✨
