When Kaelith discovered the betrayal, his roar shook the forest. Flames licked the treetops, not of rage alone, but of heartbreak. He did not strike Lyra nor Eryndor, for his love was too deep to destroy. Instead, Kaelith withdrew into the shadowed caverns, vowing never again to trust the fragile vows of mortals.

The enchanted forest mourned: the springs dulled, the fireflies dimmed, and the trees whispered of a dragon’s broken heart. Lyra, though embraced by Eryndor, carried forever the ache of Kaelith’s sorrow—a reminder that betrayal leaves scars even in realms of magic.
